"Had very mixed results from multiple rentals with these guys. I keep renting from them not because they're delivering good service, but because I have no choice - they have no competition in the Bay Area. It's much easier to pick up the equipment locally rather than wait for the delivery.

On two occasions the rentals were late for San Jose pickup, and I had to drive to San Carlos to pick it up myself. They never offered to drive themselves.

On a different occasion I was picking up a camera the hour before the wedding, and they delivered it with the completely drained battery - thus rendering it totally useless. They said they can send me the new battery, but not until tomorrow. Really?

Finally, just rented the body from them last weekend and now that I am opening images in Lightroom, the dust spots are all over the images. Very frustrating.

In other words, customer service is mediocre, to say the least."
