"I was looking to replace my dryewr, and set up an order. However 4 times the online payment syswtem failed. the forst 3 were done by a store employee, the last by myself. None worked.
As it happened the bank had stopped them after the first three. then the fourth is now in dispute with RBC since the timing of it all cause a charge to be accepted b\efore I was aware and by then had fould an alternative provider.
Despit all efforts, I was not able to cancel their order (which is due in 4 days), hence the dispute.
Obvously the arduousness (which monololized my time for most of 3 days on the phone is much of the essence, especially for a senior of limited mobility living alone!
Note: I think it better that details of this avoid my personal identity as it could make me an added scamer target"
"My mattress was bought by B&M 8 yrs ago, I have 10yrs warranty & it's starting to cave. I started communication with them in the summer of 2022, I provided everything they asked for (pics, specs, receipts, etc) and they just evaporated & cut off all communication in November of last year. I call the free toll number & wait & wait but no hope, I tried calling another department, they transferred me but cuts off the line. Ever since they closed many of their stores over a year ago in our area & downsized it went to HELL. They are giving the customers the run around & giving the impression that it's business as usual, I think this company is in trouble & they are deceiving the public with a FAKE image that it still exists. I think I am never getting a replacement & might as well give up. BIG DISGRACE indeed."

"Microwave exploded with a pop and sparks like firecrackers. Contacted salesman and he said not under warranty when the model we have has a two year warranty not one. A new one is $1,200 within 2 years. Never again do I want to give commission to the Sales team. Breau Martineau should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau if they read all the complaints."
"We bought a range hood from them but it had problem from first day in absorbing the smells and after a month it stopped working in first, second speed.
Calling them, B&M even wouldn't listen to me and quickly passed the manufacturing company's number to me, then after calling that company they blamed the installer and refused even to look at their products.
Now B&M after 3 months each time say that we contact you but never do that.
That's tatal respect that they have for their customers!
Buying from them even in sales is very risky and never worth that"
"I ordered a mattress from the Brault et Martineau line (hotel type) and slept very poorly on it. I slept poorly for 60 days and then had to wait for the new mattress. I had a call that the mattress would not be available until way later this year and they sent me a replacement (similar). The first one was too soft and now this one is like a brick. I spent over 2000$ and they just don't care about the comfort of their clients. I am a mom with 4 teenagers at home and have not slept well for a few months now. Thanks for nothing Brault. "
"Had a great sales experience in the store buying a Samsung 85". It was delivered on time but the box had quite a bit of visual damage as well as having been re-taped in the area of damage which I mentioned immediately to the guy dropping it off. He said I will take pictures which he did and said to call their delivery service number if there was damages to the product inside. Unboxing it we discovered the corner which had seemed damaged from the exterior indeed had damaged the TV inside. The back panel was cracked open. I immediately took pictures of the damage for proof and did not even bother to remove it from the box (it may have had other damages as well). I closed up the box and have it stored in my garage. I went thru the process of alerting B & M (sent pictures etc) as their policy demands. I had very little contact from them at the beginning saying that they were looking into the matter and would contact me. After about a week I received a call from a rep questioning me about the damage and he seemed surprised that I would have gotten a box so damaged, maybe it was me but I got the distinct feeling he was trying to say we had damaged it without actually saying that. He said he would talk to a superior and get back to me same day or at worst 24 hrs. Well it's been a couple of weeks later, many failed attempts at contacting them back, many e-mails sent and even going back to the store looking for some help. None was given. We are always referred back to contact the delivery service department which of course never responds. I have a feeling that I will have to go thru a legal process of small claims court to get any action. Some of the other reviews are incredible stories of horrible after sales service. I wonder how they have not been hit by a class action suit .... maybe that's what we should do!
UPDATE: After multiple attempts at contact, discovering the persons name who was in charge and sending them an e-mails that talked about possible lentiginous action they have contacted me back and will exchange the unit - quickly - 3 days after my last communication. Finally I can say - good on them but bad on them for making me jump thru hoops to get action.
I suggest to others to search thru your communications with them and you will surely see a name or two that appear. Do your best to contact them more directly and maybe you will also get action. Needless to say this whole affair has soured us on B&M. Best of luck to you all :-)"
"Very well advised on my choice of TV (86 inch Samsung TV) only I received it with scratches on the screen and followed directions for a return claim step by step only to have the worst after sales experience ever, I myself have worked retail for years and couldn't imagine myself giving the hardest of times to a customer for what should be the simplest of things, I paid close to 3000$ and it has been over a month since I received it, they have all of the proof they need and they want to blame the manufacturer naturally but although it is buisness 101 logic to take it back and deal with the manufacturer afterwards so that the client doesn't wait months and months to make use of their purchase, they just don't feel bad at all that they delivered a brand new damaged product to a customer and I am exhausted of this and tired of looking at my big cardboard box that sits in my living room so I am going to file a report with consumer's protection and I would divulge over here on how horrible it is to deal with them after the sale is done but I don't feel like adding a whole story to this already long review, besides, other reviews can tell you just how badly they don't care about customers after they pay lots of money. Although I will say Fahdi my salesman went the extra mile for me which I appreciated, even his attempt didn't result to anything.
Beware, Brault & Martineau altogether are disgusting corporate monsters with no moral sense.

After calling me to finally follow up on the situation (only because someone saw this review, they called the following day) they told me that they wanted to give me an update on the situation and they were sorry and that they're still waiting on an answer.
I told them that's the whole problem with you guys, you don't take action at all as you should have, they don't mind soiling their reputation as long as they make mucho bucks on your back. So yeah I know you guys are waiting but I'm waiting too it's been almost 3 months who the f thinks this is okay? I just felt laughed at"
