La vendeuse, prend la peine d'aller voir, et me dit, OUIIIIII, tu es dans les premières. Je lui demande de retourner vérifier, et s'assurer que tout était ok. Elle me redit....OUIIIIIIII. Arrivée à la caisse pour donner le reste du montant, la jeune caissière très honnête, me demande si le magasin m'a appelé pour me dire qu'il manquait une partie du sectionnel. NON, je n'ai eu aucun appel, il se passe tout un tralala. On discute avec le directeur, il regarde son programme sur son ordinateur, car il se dit tout surpris. Un sous directeur nous demande de quitter car ils sont fermés et de revenir le lendemain. NONNNNN, c'est de 3,000$ qu'on parle, rien à foutre que votre quart de travail soit terminé. Le directeur nous demande de rappeler la vendeuse, oupsssss, elle nous dit qu'elle va nous rappeler dans 5 minutes, deux heures plus tard, aucun appel. Le directeur me rappelle, lui non plus ne peut pas me dire quand est la livraison. Finalement j'apprends que je suis la 80 ième sur la liste. Donc pas de livraison avant mai. Tous ceux qui ont acheté là-bas, qui n'ont pas vérifier, vont attendre longtemps la livraison, et ils ne le savent pas. Malhonnêteté de la part du directeur et de la vendeuse. Je vais chercher mon argent. Soyez avisé, que si le magasin livre une partie de vos meubles, sans vous livrer votre achat complet, vous ne pouvez plus vous faire rembourser. "

"I do NOT recommend Brault & Martineau; they SCAMMED my elderly mother out of money! This is my opinion; see what you think as you review the facts.
On a Saturday a few weeks ago, my mom found a washing machine she liked at the Brault & Martineau in Brossard and the sales woman confirmed that it would qualify for free delivery since it cost $799 which is the minimum requirement at B&M (fyi that the minimum is only $695 at Home Depot and Reno).
My mom returned to B&M 2 days later with my brother to buy the washing machine. But the sales woman wasn’t there and it was a salesman that my mom and brother dealt with and he claimed that the sales woman was wrong and that the washer did not in fact qualify for free delivery.
My brother pointed out that the B&M website indicates free delivery with a minimum purchase of $799 and that the saleswoman confirmed it just 2 days prior. The salesman insisted that the machine my mother wanted did not qualify despite it having a price tag reading $799 so my mom and brother started to leave.
At that point, the salesman said “I’ll give you a deal. I’ll drop the price by $20 so it’ll be like you’re getting the disposal fee for free and I’ll charge you “only” $40 for delivery.”
Having seen that neither Home Depot nor Reno had any inventory for the washer she wanted, my mother had no choice - since her washer broke and she needed one right away - to agree to the pricing which ended up costing her $20 more than it should have:
Correct pricing: $799+$20 disposal fee + free delivery = $819.
Salesman scam: $779 +$20 disposal fee + $40 delivery = $839.
Upon learning about this UNETHICAL behavior, I called B&M’s corporate office. I left messages over a 2-week period providing both a phone # and an email address but I’ve received no calls and no emails from them which tells me they condone this unethical practice. This doesn’t surprise me given that the salesman indicated on the invoice was Daniel Martineau. I assume he’s either the owner or related to the owner so I would imagine no one at the corporate office wants to go against him.
My mother is in my her 70s and lives on her old age pension. I hope B&M is happy that they got an extra $20 out of an old lady. And I hope YOU spend your hard-earned dollars ELSEWHERE!"

"2 months delay to recieve my washer and dryer without any customer service information of the delay. No installation service provided, water lines and pipes with electrical cables tangled up on connection, dryer exhaust pipe not appropriate length adjusted to space, no cable/nylon ties used on any water and dryer connectors. Washer drainage pipe scotch-taped by installers on connection, installers had no appropriate tools nor equipment of any sort, asking me for nylon ties and scotch-tape, in attempt to secure the installation, no placement of appliances into dedicated space. Left with appliances placed in the middle of my kitchen.
Their staff left my home without any concern to clean after themselves.They entered my home with dirty boots, left empty boxes and plastic wraps on my counter. Absolute lack of any type of attempt, cooperation and willingness to fulfill the installation properly.
Further to that I had to purchase nylon ties, detangle all the water lines and cables, arrange water lines, electrical cables, water drainage and exhaust with nylon ties to ensure proper functions and release of any possible stress on their function, adjust dryer's exhaust pipe to appropriate size, remove scotch-tape on connection and reinstall correctly with nylon ties securing on connections, remove pieces of carton from underneath the appliances to place anti-scratch pads, place washer and dryer in assigned space cleaned after their staff.
Regrettably their service is non existent. Even 1 star is too much for them!!!

"I went to buy a dishwasher and fridge because mine where both broken. While shopping the salesmen sold me on all 3 new appliances including now a range. The first delivery the fridge showed up with the back torn off and the power cords ripe out of the fridge. Today my second delivery for the fridge arrives and the side has 3 dents including the door.
So once again i had to refuse delivery. The problem is they are shipping with trucks that have no lift gate and the delivery staff is just miss handling these boxes to get them off the truck. Very frustrating as it is now a second day taken off work to be home for delivery. I'm considering returning my 2 new appliances and purchasing else where. "

A la succursale de Lasalle boul. Newman. le 23 Juin 2020 j'ai retourne un robot Kitchen Aid achete le 22 Juin qui fonctionnait pas de tout ( mort, tournait pas de tout ).
J'ai fait la queue a l'entree du magasin, desinfecte les mains, puis un autre 20 min. d'attente a l'interieur. Apres ca, un autre 20 min. d'attente devant le comptoir des vendeurs ou j'ai donne la raison de ma visite. Je n'ai pas son nom car il l'a cache. Il a commencer par rire et apres mes demandes de reseignement il a montre avec sa tete vers un autre vendeur . Il riait pas a son portable, pas a sa tablette il riait en me regardant, tout simplement.
Une autre 29 min. d'attente et monsieur B. Choiniere est venu , reccomande comme manager, j'ai lui explique la reaction bizare de son vendeur avec son rire completement deplacee et le fait qu'il a cache son ecuson, j'ai demande remboursement du robot Kitchen Aid, et une explication pour le fait que je n'etais pas traite aves le minimum respect par le vendeur plein de joie qui montre son rire au clients sans aucun raison, a la place d'ecouter et essayer de resoudre les demandes.
J'ai rennonce a l'achat du frigidaire LG aussi, qui venait d'etre livree au mois de Juillet j'ai completement perdu la confiedence.
Le magasin doit verifier ses employes au niveau de leur attitude vers les clients, ca c'est sur et certain !

"I have had a terrible terrible experience with this company. They delivered me a broken table on 2020-03-17 and then because of the current situation, they closed the store after two months of living and working in this hard situation in a small apartment. I simply asked for a refund and cancel this purchase. I even said that I will take this table to one of their warehouses and accept the credit of their store instead of money in order to back to my normal life. No one answer the call no one in the store helped me! they answer the emails with delay and make an excuse that they operate with an extremely reduced staff. I am telling you if you are lucky enough to receive a good product it's ok, but If you are not lucky enough like me there is no after-sale service for you. "
"you cant buy a dinning table - because apparently they dont tell you that you cant put anything or hot ! You basically paying for a table that after one day of usage- meaning of sitting and having dinner the table is damaged! EVEN THOUGH SIMCE THE BEGGINING A NAPRON ITS BEEN PLACED ON THE TABLE TO PROTECT IT!
The table and the chairs cane with a damage and a tecnician came to fix it! I had to accept that, but now that the table after a week is worst and worst they dont want to resolve the matter!!

After one year, there is a big crack on that, The quality of leather was really bad, there is a protection plan for that sofa, I called them and they accepted to exchange it, I went to one of the west Island branch, I spent two hours on the that branch and nobody took care to help, after 2 hours I chose my sofa, then they called me for delivery, on the first delivery they did not deliver anything for first appointment and in the second arrangement time, they brought a sofa by big hole on it, When I am calling a customer service, no body is responding well, They told me I needed to wait maybe to 4 April to deliver that sofa, I don't know why they are selling what they don't have it in stock and why they don't know even when they will have it, This is a really bad experience about this store, the quality is low and customer service is not polite and helpful and by that low quality service, the price is really high."
"We spent 6000$ on a bedroom, sectional , washer dryer and a queen sized mattress.
The delivery was on a Sunday morning at 7:00 am. The delivery guys could not get the mattress or sectional thru the door, so they brought them back to the store. We picked out another sectional. The original mattress we chose was at the cost of 1000.00$ as per the sales rep. (Sylvain). Don’t trust him. He would throw in pillows and sheets a d a blanket for free. On the invoice he listed the price of the sofa at 599.00 and put a price on all the (free stuff). He had thrown in. So the store would only credit us 599 as per the invoice. The new mattress we chose was 899.00 so we would be charged an extra 300$. We were ready to give back the (free stuff) but they would not accept it. They said we could cancel the sale but when we chose to cancel the sale 3 different customer service, manager and sales reps were still trying to talk us out of it. I left the store but my significant other stayed and bought the mattress at reduced price but still more than what we originally paid. When’s sales rep lies to you and charges you 1000$ for a mattress worth 550$. There’s something wrong. We will never buy anything from Brault & Martineau again. This all happened at the Jean-Talon east location. We wasted half our Sunday arguing with these people. Not a satisfied customer. "
