"they substitute what ever they please if they are out of stock of whatever you wanted ,,, you will not get what you asked for and paid good money for"
"I ordered six "Kris Kringle" tulips for gifts in 2011. When I called to find out the shipping date they informed me they would ship in 2012. They had run out of the tulips and not bothered to notify me. Their customer service is a call center completely unrelated to the business. I will never order from them again. "
"I ordered some plants and the customer service rep said it would take two weeks to ship, but after I placed the order thier website gave an estimated deliever date of over a month. So I waited. When I didnt recieve it by the estimated delivery date, I checked the website again and they added another month to the estimated delivery date without even contacting me! When I called to cancel they said they would NOT cancel my order! They are liars! Beware! THe irony is that I read the reviews on line and ignored them - I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt! BOY WAS I WRONG! Take my advice, you will be sorry if you buy from them!"
"In the email it says "The items listed below
have been packaged at our facilities in the Netherlands and placed in a special climate-controlled container. Allow 21 to 25 days
for ocean shipping and clearance through customs."
I received it about 5 weeks after placing the order, and it shipped via UPS Ground (5 business days) out of Sharonville, OH. Last time I checked Ohio is still in the United States.
Flowers are a high-margin business, which means coupons and cash-back offers abound. Do look out / Google for current offers.
You will be pleased with the flowers and cutomer
service, just expect shipping to take some time--regardless where it is being shipped from."
"I ordered, they cancelled. No notice, nothing. Breck's has no business in business. STAY AWAY. "
"-They do not inform the customer of cancellations; they just cancel it in their system without sending a notification email.
-They automatically sign you up for the mailing list just by ordering. There are not any options to not sign up, no check-boxes to modify, you're listed without notice when ordering and there is not a notice shown in any of their agreements or help pages.
Edit(03/24/05):I contacted their customer support via email(only feasible option when in the U.S.) and found them to be without remorse for any problems with my order. The support response included a reason for the cancellation and quite possibly only because I asked for it.
-They did not apologize for my cancellation and they did not provide me with further details on how to avoid the situation next time."
"I ordered on feb 27th, 2005 some flowers from their website and got a confirmation email from them, I then went and looked today (2-28-2005) and my order is no longer there. Did it get canceled? If so why didn't I get any notification AT ALL about the cancelation or even a reason for the cancelation. The items are still in stock! Avoid these people since they seem to just lose orders and not notify you!
Update:
Part of my order was canceled and I'm still being charged the same amount for half my order! This is just crazy. Going to have to email them about this!"
