"One problem with this store is that it is misnamed. Brilliant it ISN'T, nor are the employees that work there. My purchase with a small electrical item which does not work has resulted in an apparent comlete refusal to correct the problem. And my complaint to the parent company - Nextag - has produced only "just write a review". Both are are on my list from here on. DONT BUY FROM BILLIANT STORE!!!"
"Sold my wife a counterfeit controller made to look like an authentic PS3 dualshock. had to fight and argue multiple times on the phone with them about it. they first told me they knew it was counterfeit but that phone agent was quickly replaced by another saying that there's no way they'd sell me a counterfeit. All their stuff is cheaply made Chinese crap. Stay far away."
"I ordered a specific battery recharger from this store and the one they sent was not what I ordered. I called and they refused to do anything to resolve the situation. I found it recently and sent the bogus battery charger to Goodwill. Since it was not what was listed on the package, I hope someone can tell if it fits their battery. I put a note on it!"

The vendor comment on March 15 that it takes 3 to 4 weeks still does not address the issue since the review was written at day 35 of waiting for the order to arrive. On my calendar 35 days is clearly past 4 weeks."

"Companies like this make online purchases questionable. I ordered an external laptop battery charger from the online store based on information provided by phone support. The ad was apparently ambiguous to both of us because when it arrived the connector was incompatible. I called and asked if an adapter was left out of the package and it was determined that the charger was completely incompatible. I asked for a return RMA which I used (return shipping paid by me). When my card was credited they charged a 15% restock AND outbound shipping. This is unacceptable because their customer service confirmed the charger prior to the order and furthermore did not indicate any restock or shipping charges would be retained when I requested an RMA. The customer should not be responsible for ANY charges when the error is due to erroneous descriptions and advice by customer service. When I contacted the company regarding the failure to refund the full amount they refused and blamed the confusion on me, the customer, despite the fact that I had contacted phone support first. I might have accepted the shipping charges but they seemed more interested in the small profit than any chance of future business. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!"
"I very seldom write a review on any company because some are good and most are just OK. This company is really bad. It was been weeks since my order and I have not heard from them. I received an email stating that my item has shipped and then waited for the item. When I called them they said they printer out a shipping label but did not ship it because it was back ordered. When were they going to tell me this? They said it was coming in a day or so and they would send it. That was a lie and a few weeks later I still don't have my order. Buy.com should stop doing any business with this company."

Ordered a "NEW" laptop battery and it was damaged. I complained to the company and they replaced the battery with no problems. Then when I charged the newer battery, I found out the battery would not fully charge, so the company sent me instructions on how to reset the battery, which I did 5 times with almost no improvement! Now they are expecting me to return the 2nd battery using my own money and I would have to wait for their company to inspect the battery for them to send me a new one! So I'm suppose to just go off to college with a laptop that won't work b/c they have bad products? Definitely never buying from this company again!"
"Received a defective battery in the order. We have been trying to resolve this issue for over a year. It is now 8/11/2009. We do not have a resolution and they are now claiming they did not receive payment. It was purchased online with a credit card. There is no way to contact this reseller outside of email and we continue to get the run around. All we want is the defeective battery to be replaced. I am not hopeful at this point."
"I ordered a small room air conditioner from the Brilliant Store and gave them my credit card information. I received a confirmation of the order the same day and they verified receipt of my credit card, so far so good. On July 1st I emailed the Customer Service Department to find out who the delivery company would be for the air conditioner so that I could track the delivery. Six(6) hours later, I got an email back saying that the order was cancelled because the item was discontinued. Not getting the air conditioner I ordered is not the problem. The problem is that they did not inform me of the cancellation of my order until I asked where it was and now I've lost a week and a day when I could have ordered another one. The term Customer Service is correct for the Brilliant Store, they just need to add "Poor" to the beginning of that title. I will not use them in the future."

April 24: Order a Sunpentown SF-611 Evaporative Air Cooler. It was delivered within a few days. Great.
May 19: The cooler broke and I requested a replacement. They sent me another unit within 2 days. Wow, awesome.
May 25: The 2nd cooler broke and I requested another replacement. And this is where it all goes to HELL!
June 2: Still no replacement. Apparently the vendor is trying to figure out why it broke. WTF? I don't care why it malfunctioned. I don't work for you, I am a customer.
June 4: Requested a refund and as of June 11th, still no refund. They received the 2nd defective unit on 9th. I was told that it needed to be processed through several departments in order for me to get a refund. Then they send me an email saying that my money was refunded - LIES!!! I called my bank and they have not received anything!!!
To Sum Up: Payed for product on April 24th, had a working unit for a few weeks (including the replacement) and as of June 11th, still NO REFUND!!! That's 49 days!!! "

"ordered on nov 28th 2008 received on dec 15th 2008.... slow like a sloth personally delivered.... well good packaging..... ordered a dell inspiron 9400 battery.... got some cheap ass shitty about to fall apart that wouldn't fit my dell inspiron 9400 becuase of how poorly it's made (got some bumps on the inside sticking out).... slowest shipping i've seen so far (i might be in Canada but i've never had to wait nothing near this long for something even from the states). I 've just finished sending an email to them and hope to get a response shortly and get a full refund. i paid more for battery than needed (considering it's not an original dell battery) paid 65us plus shipping when i saw deals at even $35-40 us.... overpaid, sloth shipping, and worst ...... dosen't work = not happy at all....gonna ad more now .... they told me a replacement will be sent after phoning them.... slow mailing.. no way... i cut some plastic of of it .. shittty shity... but managed to get it in... now 4 months later it only last no more 45 min a min power... 20 min at max... it's already dying..... don't bother with them buy an original from dell.. just ordered it today april 13 for $179 CAD.. american is cheaper.... screw them..."
