"I am very happy with Sheena Rose's customer service at Buy Happier. She provided excellent and ideal customer service.
I live in Canada and ordered the SHARK NV352 from Buy Happier, NEVADA, because I did not know it was sold in Canada. I had to pay shipping so the total came to $198.85. There was a postal strike in Canada which delayed receipt till today, Thur, July 21, 2011. I had to pay $31.50 customs duty at my front door.
Immediately I assembled the unit to find that the double arched handle (part 1 on your diagram)would not click into the stem despite all attempts. The small red 'tongue' in the inside of the cylinder handle did not protrude far enough to hook on to the lip of the grey shaft to secure attachment.
I called Jessie in New Brunswick 1-***-***-**** (the # on the vacuum itself) and she told me I had to ship the whole unit back to America!
I reached Sheena Rose at Buy Happier (Chicago)***-***-**** who listened thoroughly to my predicament and we discussed thoroughly my financial options if I had to return the shipment to Nevada, which Sheena also discussed w/her supervisor.
Sheena suggested we place a conference call to the original number I called in New Brunswick, Canada New Brunswick 1-***-***-**** to see if they would honor the warranty within Canada to avoid me having to pay for a substitute handle to be shipped from USA and risk further customs duty when it entered Canada.
Before she placed the conference call, everything was heard in detail by Sheena and I felt that she understood my points 100%.
We reached Bonnie in NB who had a different approach than her colleague, Jessie. Bonnie will honor the 5 yr warranty in Canada, and she has arranged for a new handle to be delivered within 7-10 days. It was a dream come true, due to Bonnie's reasonableness and due to Sheena putting the call together and having the patience to work out the problem.
I only have to wait for the new handle. I can keep this NV352. I don't have to re-package and ship it anywhere. Meanwhile, by grasping the lower handle (bending lower), I can still vacuum and rejoice in my new and great multiple dust collections.
I have Sheena Rose to thank for the suggestion of re-calling Shark in New Brunswick, for that solution was the simplest and most direct. Thank you, Sheena Rose!
I do not plan to shop at BH again due to customs duty upon entering Canada. No other reason."
"I have always wanted a Dyson sweeper but the cost was a big factor why I haven't purchased one until now.I started looking online and happened to find the Buy Happier website.They had some recertified Dyson models for reasonable prices so I decided to go for it and purchase one. "I was quite pleased with my online shopping experience with BuyHappier.com. I ordered a Vornado 153 Tower Circulator fan with remote control. It arrived promptly, although clearly the package had previously been sent to another customer who must have returned it. The box had been re-taped and there was another shipping label which had been scratched out. All parts were present when I opened the package and in perfect shape. However, this tower fan was very noisy and really did not move very much air. I was disappointed, and decided I needed to return it.
