"went on amazon on cyber Monday for a Samsung slim 55" TV. Saw a crazy deal. Before I pulled the trigger, i checked online. I found this buysquad site for $110 less on the same model. I thought, what the heck, i am covered by my credit card anyway.
I saw some reviews about additional insurance fee. So i called up after I placed the order to make sure that that charge was not going to appear on my statement. they informed me that this charge was only for over size boxes and was not applicable to this order.
I asked if i was getting tracking and I was informed i would get it the next day. I did get the tracking the next day. This tv was shipping with fedex and it got to me 4 days later after order was placed.
I must say that i was skeptical but this company did come through and i would recommend them to others.

I set up the television four days ago. First, I am extremely pleased with the honesty integrity and service I received with BuySquad.
I received mine in a heavy boxed crate that took about 1/2 hour to take apart. This tv is a beast. It takes two strong men to carry as it weighs 155 lbs without the stand.It is large and bulky.Secure it on the stand and it weighs 180 lbs by the time you place it on a stand. The stand swivels 6-8 inches so you can adjust the viewing and get behind the tv for easier access.
Set up- the magic remote works great. Think of it as a mouse that you can use to get through the initial set up and on-going use. The only issue I had with set up was getting my WiFi to work. It took me 5-6 tries before it recognized my network. Adding components is a simple process. I upgraded my components (Samsung BD-F7500 DVD player, Denon AVR-X2000 receiver, and Mediabridge cables. The DVD player and receiver are capable of 4K and 3D throughput and upscaling. The only other issue, my Comcast cable box didn't like the 4k cable- video quality was great but sound quality was downgraded.
Results- My seating is 10-12 feet from the tv. I think this is ideal for this tv. The general rule is seating take the height of the tv times three. This tv is nearly four feet high so 10-12 feet would be right. According to some sources, reduce the distance in half for 4k tv. I don't recommend as it feels you are in the front row of the movie theater.
Blu-ray (regular, 4-k mastered, and 3D) viewing is exceptional. People have used terms such as lush, brilliant, astonishing, and 3D qualities (when not it 3D). I would agree. I have never seen a tv or a movie theater this good. My family agrees. There is no doubt the upscaling makes a big difference. I was watching on a Samsung 61 Inch LED which I thought was excellent before. No comparison. Compare the 4k with any non4k on upscaled media- the 4k tv will blow it away. I played around with the color adjustment and found the Vivid to my way of liking. Other than the crystal clear picture, the color range has more shades and is more brilliant than any tv I have seen. One reviewer, made the comment that off angle viewing led to considerable drop off. I haven't notice much.
I viewed the recently released 4k mastered original Spiderman. These are a bit of a ripoff. The original is 4k but the purchased copy is maybe 2K according to my DVD player. Even so, the picture is exceptional- crystal clear and brilliant colors.
3D viewing is a huge bonus. I have never been a fan and would never have bought a 3D tv. This tv will blow you away. It comes with six pair of passive glasses. You can buy more them for $3 each or less. The picture quality is cleary 1080P quality at a minimum. The 3D effects are amazing. I viewed 6-8 top 3D movies (Avatar, Jurassic Park, Titanic, MegaMind, and others). The viewing is exceptional. I have seen a number of 3D movies at the theater and almost always go away dissapointed. Not so with the LG. The 3D effects are smooth, precise and "in your face." The passive glasses are a big plus compared to the active glasses. Cheap, lightweight, and easier on the eyes. The active glasses shutter on and off real fast. Your eyes can't see them but I think your brain senses something is not right. I know active glasses fatigue my eyes.
Comcast cable HD viewing is fine but not exceptional. I don't know if there is any noticeable upscaling going. The cable viewing is better than comparable large sets. However, it begs the question when will 1080P to 4K viewing be available for the consumer.
If you looked at the tv, you have seen a huge bundle of features built (Google apps, Smarttv, etc.). I won't comment on those as I as still trying to wade through these but that is not why you would by this tv.
Cons- Lack of 4k content. I have talked about this with LG customer service and they are waiting word from the Korean headquarters. I have tried downloading 4k content from YouTube with limited success. LG has provided some additional instructions so I will try again. It looks like others (Sony, Intel, Red, and Apple) might take the lead in 4k and LG will follow but it is too early to know.
Overall Buysquad delivered me a Brand New TV with excellent service, courteous reps, timely delivery and great pricing! I know this sounds too good to be true, but this is my story."

Just make sure you clarify that what you a buying is a brand new product and be patient with the ship date. The TV once it shipped only took 5 days to arrive at my house and it was a perfect. "I was looking for a specific flat screen 3D tv, and buysquad had the lowest price for the model that I wanted. After I made the purchase they called me and asked if it is ok to upgrade my tv to a very similar looking tv which included wireless keyboard for the same price.
I had to contact customer service because the 3D glasses was missing, they were fast to respond and send me the glasses the same day. "
"When I saw Buysquad.com price for a Samsung Blue Ray dvd player with built in WiFi that I was looking for my jaw almost dropped! Rolled the dice, took the chance, ordered it and cancelled my order for same item from Walmart.com immediately. First I received an email instructing me to call their number to confirm the order. I called and was told staff were in the meeting and that someone would call me back. No one did. I called 2 days later, was told order was valid. Got an email few days later informing me that my order had been approved and ready to ship. Follow up email said the order had been shipped. Yesterday I called to track my order and was told an email would be coming in an hour with a link to tracking. No email came. Today I called and was told the staff was in training (again) and that I would be getting an email next week on Monday to track the order. I asked if he could just tell me over the phone what the status was, he said that he could not. Well as of this writing 11 days have passed since the time of the order and I can not get a straight answer as to where the order is which makes me somewhat concerned. IF I ever receive my order someday, and IF that is exactly what I ordered and not a refurbished one, I will have saved about a whopping $40.00!!And IF this happens, I will forget about the lengthy ordering ordeal and their seemingly insincere customer service telephone etiquettes! I will do a follow up review IF I ever get my order. Thank you.
Update: The Blue Ray DVD player that I had ordered on 11/25/13 was finally delivered on Monday 12/23 to the office of my complex since I was not home that day and the office was closed on Tuesday 12/24 therefore the item did not get to be placed under the Christmas Tree for which it was intended and I picked it up on Thursday 12/26! In summary it was ordered on 11/25 and received on 12/26, 30 days later and the shocker was that it was refurbished! I hooked it up and it worked! Thank God! I am sure I saved a few dollars on this order by not pay sales tax, shipping and extra insurance fees. Just disappointed that it was not new as it was advertised (so I feel deceived) and also it took a month to get it. I found their overall customer service to be insincere compared to the quality of service from other major online retailers such as Amazon.com.
Will I call them and complain that they sent me refurbished one ? NO. I care not to deal with them it is not worth the time and energy.
Will I order from them again? No absolutely not.
Will I recommend buysquad.com to others? NO. absolutely not.
I apologize for expatiating on this review.
I hope that this company will review its current customer unfriendly policies and improve its customer service in the future. "
"Ordered Blu-ray player from this company on 11/25. Website said nothing about product being "recertified". Had to call them to personally confirm my order, and it was at that point they informed me that the Blu-ray player was recertified. Afterwards, they changed their website (and my order) to reflect the recertified status of the Blu-ray player. Ok...I'll look past that I guess. But here it is 12/4 (almost 10 days later) and still haven't received the item. Checked the website and it says "backordered", but not informed via email or any other means that the item was backordered. Their website still says product availability ships in 1 to 2 days. Not happy with the situation all the way around and will be cancelling my order. Another store has the same exact item brand NEW for only $10 more.
UPDATE: Within 5 minutes of posting the above review, Mark from Buy Squad called me and completely rectified the situation. That very day, he shipped out a brand NEW Blu-ray player to me...overnight! Then, he even called me this morning to follow-up and make sure that I received the item yesterday and to be sure I was a happy customer. In today's day and age of such frequent lousy customer service and so many companies' "who cares?" attitude...I am remarkably impressed. Mark went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Would definitely recommend them!"

"I bought a TV from Buysquad on Black Friday 2013. They didn't finalize the purchase and sent me email to call them under the pretense of security checking. When I called they attempted numerous upsells. I'm a big boy, not a big deal, I said no. Then the rep on the phone tried to slip in a delivery insurance fee of $150. Not acceptable. I cancelled the order. This kind of bait and switch doesn't go over well with me. I'd rather pay a few bucks more knowing I'm dealing with an honest company. I will never attempt to purchase from them again."
