"Dec 1 2013: I was looking for a Samsung 65 inch LED/LCD TV. I found Buy Squad. I read the reviews about slow shipping, poor customer service. I ordered anyway given the TV was literally half price. They called me to confirm it was a legit order. The delivery service sent me an email asking for specific delivery location, stairs, etc... I received my TV in 10 days, they brought it in and set it up. I also received the 4 yr warranty for the 2 year price (do decline it at first, they will sweeten the deal). I'm amazed and impressed. Sure it took more than 5 days but I saved a TON!"

"This is my first time ordering a TV through Buy Squad and they do not disappoint. At first, I was nervous about ordering a TV through them despite many positive reviews because of their very low prices and also negative reviews from past customers claiming that the TV they had ordered were not advertised as brand new, but refurbished. Red flag right? I decided to take a chance by ordering a TV on their website and I'm glad I did. After placing my order, I spoke to Mark the customer rep to ask him about the condition of the TV and he assured me the TV I ordered is brand new, not refurbished. I placed my order on the TV on 10/31 and it arrived at my doorstep on 11/12 and the TV was brand new like Mark had said. I called the manufacture company to confirm the TV was brand new and it was brand new. Overall, I'm very pleased with the customer service I received from Mark and the low price I had paid for the TV. The lowest price was this company buysquad. Ordered online on Thursday. Got a call from trucking company to deliver the following Monday.

Trucker put the tv in my living room. Box was in perfect shape. Opened the tv and it was in brand new condition.

Will recommend, good experience, will be back.

The only thing I didn't like was that the trucking company came at the end of the delivery estimated time so I waited for 2 hours. But I caught up on some emails so all is good."

"OK -- to the point: Is Buy Squad legit? Yes. I got a smokin' price on a 60" tv -- $900 less than the SALE price at Best Buy. So that's the good.

Here is the rest: just about everything in the process makes you think they are completely a scam. After purchasing, I got an email to call them to verufy the online purchase. The guy I talked to sounded like a scam artist b/c he said everything three times. (seriously -- it was like in an Ausitn Powers movie) Finally, he casually asks how I will cover teh extra charge for the insurance -- which is mentioned NOWHERE on the site. I was feeling spunky, so what the heck, let's go for it.

It took me 3 weeks to get the TV. Calling their Portland HQ gave me sketchy info at best wrt status. They used a third party shipping company, HomeDirect, who also had sketchy info re: the order -- and they are actually just a sort of middle-man who delivers to the final warehouse-to-door vendor (who, mis-labeled the shipment, and couldn't find it).

Everyone I talked to was very nice in trying to assist -- but this was definitely no order-and-appear-on-porch process.

With the price savings, I'd buy from them again. But just be prepared to work your order."

"am a professional video producer who is seldom truly impressed. My previous TV was a Panasonic 50 inch plasma, which was working perfectly, and I had been waiting and watching the industry for when I should jump to the next level. This, among other choices, including new plasmas, was it. Pricey, but some things in life are worth it.

Out of the box, I was not happy at all, and it turns out there are a multitude of factory settings that need adjustment. The biggest culprit was something called Auto Motion Plus, which Samsung should never have made the factory default, and should be turned off forever. It was designed as an aid to fast moving action scenes utilizing the high refresh rate, but it turns a stunningly beautiful movie into a soap opera video. The rest are a matter of personal taste, as in color balances, contrast, saturation, black levels, etc. I keep the Cinema Black off, as this unit does a great job with the blacks in other areas of the menu. Skin tones are the true test.

Off axis viewing is less than ideal, and there is some edge light visible at times on dark scenes, but I continue to be stunned by the image, especially the 3D, which is mesmerizing, super-vivid and hyper-real.

There are those who are saying 3D is a fad that will pass, but they are dead wrong, and obviously have NOT seen the likes of this TV in a dark space. 3D is no more a fad than experiencing life with two eyes rather than one. I would add though, that for 3D to be effective, the screen must be large, as it can be a little like looking through a window if too small.

"This company is the only company I would buy a tv from. I called up & got the help I needed to decide what tv was right for me. I called up some other companies but dident receive the level of support as I did with buy squad.


I havta say now that my tv has arrived that buys quad is prob one of the best out there. There prices are totally unbeatable even with the expedited shipping I chose because I needed the tv for an early birthday gift for my wife.
