"I passed up purchasing the Night Ops Gladius on several other sites because they indicated the item was out of stock. I'd have placed the order with them as they did offer it at cheaper price but I didn't want to wait. After ordering from this site I received a notice advising it was on order from the manufacturer instead of "your order is being processed for shipment". Not advising up front before a purchase that you don't have an item in stock at your warehouse is a disreputable business practice. I'm disappointed and disgusted. Especially since the type of person who spends $200 on a flashlight is usually a person who's life depends on that tool 40 hours a week on the street or possibly 24/7 over seas on deployment. "I have ordered from Chief supply a few times before and everything was ok. This particular order on the other hand went horribly. I placed my order on 8/3/10, The pants I ordered weren't delivered until 9/1/10 and the shirt finally arrived on 10/26/10. I could see my order taking that long if I had ordered an entire wardrobe, but three (3) items? I am highly disappointed. I called midway into august and got a run around from customer service. Apparently size 30 midnight navy class A uniform pants are in so high of demand that they had to harvest the materials to make my two(2) pair. And the size small black 5.11 tactical compression shirt, why that would take three (3) months to deliver I cant even begin to comprehend. Customer support was non-existent. This was my final order from chief supply."
