"I'm very satisfied with my order. You're much cheaper than my previous supplier, who last time gave me a mask that covered my mouth and I was never happy with it. This model is the style I had before that one, and while it will wear out over time, your prices make replacement much easier to do. I'll be back!"

CPAP.com Made Me Spend More Than I Needed

"I was looking for a replacement electrical cord for my BiPap machine. I contacted the maker, Philips, and they refered me to look for the cord on Cpap.com. I was unsure what cord I needed for the machine so I got the customer service number off the website. I called and gave the customer service operator the information she asked about my machine so she could assess what cord I needed. She gave me the the number so I could use that and order the product on the website. I did this and the cord was about $45 and I even ordered the other part of the cord which was only $12 in case that was part of the problem.
I was so glad I received the box in about 3 days. I opened the box and tore opened the cords to fit on my machine. Well it was the wrong cord. I looked at the order form and then saw their policy was no returns for open products. I was so mad. I was the wrong series cord, I need series 50 instead of 60 - there were two choices for the cord and their customer service rep picked the wrong one and now I had to pay for it.
I call and they offer to send me the new cord at 50% and free shipping which was very nice, but I still was stuck paying for a $45 cord I did not need. What do I do with it? Throw it away? A cord is not a sterile medical device, I feel they could have returned this and resold it. I would have paid the shipping to return it. I think this no return policy for a cord was uncalled for. I saw other things I was interested in purchasing on the website but I will not buy from them. I also wrote back to Philips to tell them my experience.
