"Bought an Antec Lanboy
was one of the first stores in southern Ontario to have this case in stock.
price was good $155 before taxes and shipping
was an additional 20 for UPS Standard and C.O.D.
shipping was great the case showed up to my house in less then 24 hours (17 to be exact)
service seemed good, they called me to confirm my order and that it would be shipped the same day.

"I've bought 3 systems from there in the past year... I never had to return anything and the prices were unbeatable... but recently I bought a Palm PDA and it was defective. I took it back after only a few days and was told they'd have to test it... It took over a week to 'test' and then they ordered the replacement and took even longer to get the replacement. Prices are wicked, but it clearly comes at a 'price', customer service is rotten"
"I have made many purchases from Canada Computers, mail order and in-store. They have the BEST prices in Canada, bar none.
Their customer service may be a little flaky at times. However, they have never screwed up an order, and continue to bring new products at the best prices. Highly recommended."
"8/18/2002 - The fan on the Asus V7700 TiVX NVidia Geforce2 Ti video card was dying 3 weeks ago. went back to them and was told it had to be shipped back to manufacturer to change the fan to cause of the warranty. Was told that it would take 5 bloody weeks. The guy was really rude and was unpleasnt to talk to. Never buy parts from them again. I suggest you do the same. Spend a lil more money on good customer service."
"the canada computers store on college street is usually rammed with people and maybe one or two clerks helping the people all over the floor. I call canada computers the Fishmarket because it reminds me so much of one of the fish stores on spadina.
as usual they had a great price on a asus video card t28200, and you get there and theres none in stock and they try to bait and switch you to the MSI model thats only $20 more they say.. uh, no..
not worth the trouble most of the time, the staff are just terribly rude.. "
"Went to their store today to ask about the Antec 1040B computer case, and they were quite busy at the time, but i managed to find someone to help me. i asked him if i could see the case because antec and their website has been warning about vendors replacing the case with fake power supplies and other types of fake imitations. the guy was very impolite and said that i must pay him to see it because the case was in the storage. i told him that this was a $208 item and that i wanted to see it first. ($208 is definitely not spare change for me!!! i wouldn't give it away unless it was really worth it! don't you guys think so?) well, he eyed me like i was crazy and that $208 was worth nothing, and my friend was unhappy and told me to leave. haha, before i left, of course i tried to bargain so i could tell you guys how successful i was (since you guys haven't actually tried yet right?) again, he was impolite and said, no, and that includes tax! and then he walked to another customer and dealt with him. i was quite unhappy at their arrogance, i don't care if other people pay them $1000's for their computers and don't ask for a bargain or don't need to check their items, i earned my hard earned couple of hundreds and to me that's a lot of money. they should treat me like a regular customer and have shown me the case just like any other professional store would. urban, is canada computers a franchise in which complaints can be filed to? anyways, i guess this will create a lot of mixed emotions, some people will say 1. local retailers don't give you service or 2. they were busy and $200 is nothing, but i still think that they should have treated me better."
