"I ordered couple of new unlocked phone from cell hut, All I got used phone, And One of them battery is not working (It’s not recharging). I tried to use same battery model with this and working okay.
I called customer Service and they said you need contact Technical department. Tech Dept ask me to use other battery ans see will work or not. I tried and found its working. And again I called Customer Service and inform them. They said, contact Tech Dept and they will send you new battery for that. I tried many time and tech dept never responded. Again I called Customer Service and when I tell them. I surprised with the rude answer from them. They said when you buy discount priced phones from Cell hut you should bare the risk but we won't provide any battery or guaranty for you. The way they are responding is not at all good and buying discount priced phones when those are not working its waste of money and time.
Now I decided to stop buying from Cell hut and also will I suggest to my friends stop buying from here.
I feel it's a junk store trying to make money from customers by selling bad Phones.

"I am so close to filing not only a complaint against the company, but will seek out a lawyer and go after what seems like a sham of a business. I placed the order for a Samsung Innov8 yesterday. Since placing the order, i have not been able to get through to anyone. Everytime i call the 877 number, i just get directed to the voicemail instead.

"I ordered what I thought as a compatible unlocked cell phone for my At&T plan. When the phone arrived, I immediately found that my SIM card wouldn't work in the phone. I called Cellhut the same day to get return instructions. I returned the phone the same day I received the email with the return number authorization. That was on April 3, 2009. Today is June 5, 2009, and I'm still waiting for a refund. Every time I call, I'm told it will take 7-10 business days for my refund to be issued. I have yet to receive it. This is absolutely my last time dealing with this company. "

"I was highly satisfied with this purchase. Phone arrived on the day it was expected. I also received a car charger, USB cable and phone holder which was not mentioned in the initial deal but nonetheless I am happy with the product and the accessories.

"Cellhut is a big company that does a lot of business online. They have a huge stock of unlocked phones and accessories that sell at low prices, better than most. The website is easy to navigate and you can even search by technology which makes buying a phone easy to do."

I ordered LG shine cellphone from cellhut as I lost my cell phone. I called there sales number and asked if this cell phone is compatible with AT&T even though there websites listed the phone as AT&T compatible just to make sure it will work properly. I missed the phone delivery as UPS tried to deliver it on a day time. Cellhut has the most inconvenient way of delivery as it requires personal signature and you cannot schedule a pickup with UPS. So I had to work from home just to get my cell phone. Then I opened the box and the instruction manual was in a foreign language. To make matter worse, when I inserted the sim in the LG shine it was just showing one bar. I tried the cell phone at various other places and it dropped the calls frequently. I paid $230 for a piece of junk, so I called cellhut customer and it took me around a hour to get a customer representative. After I explained the problem he asked me to ship the cellphone at my own expense. So, I called cellhut back to know if I will get the return and then told me I won't get the full return and will have to pay restocking fee. The whole experience was awful and total waste of money."

"YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! This site is a complete scam. I bought a "new" Sony Ericsson S500i for about $170. Thought it was a fantastic deal but it only lasted for about 5 months. I decide to take the phone for a fix but decided not to because it will cost more than the phone itself. Apparently the man who fixes phones as a profession told me that the phone has been taken apart BEFORE. I have never taken the phone apart so I can only conclude that the phone was NEVER "NEW" to begin with. A complete scam. They probably replace the phones with faulty parts and then resell it as new. Sony products usually lasts WAY more than 5 months. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! As for the positive reviews? I assume Cellhut writes it themselves. WOW thanks for that wonderful assurance of it being "factory new" but SOMEONE is obviously lying. My phone was TAKEN APART before it was purchased meaning it was NEVER NEW. So by your "factory new" I guess you mean you guys took it to your factory a renewed it with old parts?"

"I ordered a "brand new" Jabra bt2010 from this company at a very good price. I promptly received a model refurbished by On Time Warranty Services, LLC with a 90 day limited warranty if I send the company a $4.95 money order. After playing the calling and waiting game several times, I got a human voice who suggested that I pay to ship the Jabra back to Cell Hut and then we could discuss the situation. After reading some of the reviews on these guys, I have decided to limit my loss and end contact with Cell Hut."

"I just got the following response from the company. Something very similar to what they said when I placed the order. But I am wondering whey they NEVER replied to my email inquiries to their customer support and prefer to respond here and why so many people file complaints with them at BBB. That is how their dirty trick starts and please do not fall for that.

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. They say one set of things before you buy and a totally different set of things afterwards.

I purchased an unlocked cellphone from them and they promised that it will work with my carrier. But when I got the phone, it does not.

It took me forever to get in touch with the customer service and they want me to ship it back at my own cost and they will respond 24 to 48 hours after receipt of the product. However, after the return was delivered to them on May 1st, I waited untial May 7 and had to call them back to check the status. They told me their phone is fine and there will be 15% re-stocking fee if I want a refund. Finally I realized that this is how they make money regardless whether their products work or not.

I tried to share this experience on the review part of their webstie. Guess what, they will not even post it. I think they just filter out all the negative reviews and only keep the good ones. That is why the most recent review for the product I ordered is back to april, 2008. Can not imagine how many customers have fallen into their traps so far.

I will not recommend this website to anyone ever. And I will warn everyone of possible dirty practice this company may do.
