"The watch was supposed to be in stock when the order was placed. After the order was placed my account indicated it was awaiting to be filled. Calling after a week, they said it would be filled soon. After two weeks and the same story, I cancelled the order.
The below response says I was not charged. This is not correct. I was charged the day the order was placed on 9/11. "
"I ordered a watch on Dec 10th. Was told by email that it was packed and waiting for UPS pick-up. I was checking for a tracking number and to my surprise the website showed that it was backordered. When I emailed I was told that someone else ordered the watch before me and either I could wait or cancel the order. This is not a way to do business. First I'm told that the watch was ready to be shipped and now I probably won't even have it for Christmas. I decided to wait for the watch to come in but my son won't have it Christmas morning. I was very excited to find this website but I really don't think I will be ordering from it in the future unless you can make good on a Christmas delivery. "
"This is an update to my earlier review. Within what seemed like seconds, Kevin from Certified Watch Store called me to discuss my comments. He clarified the company's policy for me, which seemed reasonable, and offered to repair/replace my watch upon its return (at my expense, including insurance and signature confirmation...not a big deal). He said he'd send me a confirming email, which he immediately did. Upon reading the email, I learned that I also had to send a check for $30 to cover shipping and handling. The watch, a Citizen Eco-Drive (actually a great inexpensive watch) only cost $72.50, plus $9.99 S&H. With my return costs, probably somewhere under $10, that would make my cost $82.49 + $8 (est) + $30 = $120.49. The suggested retail price is $135.00. I guess I'll just end up keeping the watch and hope it lasts a little while longer...maybe I'll get lucky. With the bent stem, I know I won't be scuba diving with it, even though it's supposed to be water resistant to 100 meters.

Delivery of my watch was "timely", arriving within a few days of my order. The watch was exactly what I ordered, as I had already had the same identical item. Upon inspection, everything appeared to be fine, except that the watch stem seemed a little off-center when it was being adjusted. Also, when adjusting the day, time and date, the watch seemed to hang up on Sunday. I assumed it was trying to adjust for midnight, so I waited for the next day, at which the day switched. After that, being a 12-hour watch, I tried adjusting it for am or pm to get it to change days at the right time, on the right day. Long story short, I checked the return policy today and learned that the watch cannot be returned once it's worn(?). There is also a 30-day reurn policy of non-use, which means that after you buy the watch, you should only look at it for 30 days, but don't touch or wear it during that time. That makes no sense to me, as products usually fail only during use. I guess the company restocks the item. I also learned that I am responsible for all shipping costs, even if the watch doesn't work properly. Apparently, I am now stuck with this item. I have had to change the time and day several times already, and the other day, the watch stopped running completely, until I pulled the stem out and pushed it back in several times. I' not blaming the company, as the item was in it's original packaging but, come on, stand behind your products with a more consumer-friendly polcy."
"Fast shipping, good price, great product but DO NOT expect customer service. My order arrived (in 3 days) before my questions were answered. I emailed customer service on the first day of my order, then called twice (between 10-11am PT) on 2 separate days following my order and was put on hold for 60 minutes each time before I gave up! I give them 5 stars for shipping. 1 star for customer service. Average = 3 stars"
"The manufacturee's box (not the shipping box) was damaged. When I buy a thousand dollar watch I expect to be able to present it as a nice gift, not something I bought in a back alley in NYC."

"The watch is authentic for sure. However, it is not new because it was apparently used for shop displays. In addition, the inner watch package is a bit broken. Considering the price, it's a fair deal; but in terms of the lack of information to the customers, I am quite disappointed."

"Where do I start. The original order was processed quite quickly, however I received the wrong item. I followed the return instructions to the letter and asked for an exchange. The item I received and the item I actually wanted were the exact same price. I insured and mailed the watch back at my expense and heard nothing back for a week after it was signed for and received by the company. I emailed twice and called twice and was eventually told that it would take 5-7 business days for processing. After waiting that time, I called again and eventually got through on the phone and was told that the item was not exchanged but rather my credit card account was partially refunded. They charged me $10 to take back the item when all I was looking to do was exchange it for the correct item which again was the exact same price. Now the price of the original item I wanted has been raised by $50 so now I have no Christmas gift, I've been charged $10 to return an item when I clearly marked it as an exchange and it cost me and additional $18 to ship it back.
Update:The company contacted me by phone and refunded the $10. The watch is not in stock so I won't be getting it for Christmas and I'm out $18 for shipping it back but at least they made an effort. Based on that, I've updated the rating. "
"UPDATE: After posting my original feedback (shown below), certifiedwatchstore.com sent me an email to explain that the watch had been on backorder and offered to send it overnight for no additional charge. I was pleased with the merchandise after I receieved it. My only regret is that I could not get a response until after I left negative feedback in a public forum -- and that there was no indication at the time of order that the item was on backorder. I may consider using this seller again in the future.
I ordered a Citizen men's watch on September 8 from certifiedwatchstore.com, and the company's website said the item would ship in 7-10 days. I then received an email on Septemer 14 saying that the item was out of stock and that it was expected to ship in another 7-10 days. I have tried calling their customer support line and was only able to reach voicemail. No one returned my call. It is now October 1, and when I checked the status of my order, I found that it is still awaiting fulfillment. In other words, after 23 days, my order still has not been shipped. This is my first experience with the company, and based on how it has gone so far, it will likely be my last."
