"This is my third purchase with the Certified Watch Store. I've had mixed experiences with them. I'd like to say now that I know more how the store operates I feel more confident buying from them.

My first purchase took more than 3 months before I received my order (from the date I ordered online when it said it would ship within 8-10 days). I didn't realize they didn't have my item in stock, I'd never bought anything from (anywhere) where they didn't tell you it was out of stock when you order it. I had ordered it early enough before X-mas to get it in time for a Christmas present, however that didn't matter. I sent many emails and kept getting the same response, that it was on order and should be coming in "about a week". It was worth the wait, the watch was beautiful and the price was much lower than I could find it anywhere else (in stock). My last two purchases, one did not include the retail price tag (only the string that it would have been attached to), and the other was a limited edition Citizen which did not include the wooden box it was supposed to come in, just a black Citizen box which seemed to be a substitute for the real thing. Not sure if this was an error by Citizen or a way to save money...

Since then, I learned how to shop their website and only order items that say they will ship in 24 hours - this just means it is (in stock). Also beware that the seller is not an authorized retailer of their watches and so this means many watch companies such as Citizen, will not honor their 5 year warranty. I do not know why this is so important, but it is apparently. If you buy from Certified Watch Store, the only warranty is the store's warranty. Also, regarding returns, although they have 30 day returns, the Certified Watch Store will charge you a return fee which is 10% of the price of the watch.

I am not writing this to criticize them, I am writing this as a word of advice (and caution) to anyone who is shopping online so they will know how and when to buy online at the Certified Watch Store. "

Could not get tracking number from website, was not alerted to shipping of item, this is a simple task and certified failed to deliver here. Was not informed that shipment had been sent. No tracking number was supplied until day before item was to arrive. There is no excuse for the lack of communications. Pricing is very competitive though and other than faults pointed out this is a very good merchant of watches and I still recommend."
