"I ordered 400 checks by phone in November. I paid extra to have them shipped faster. My name was spelled wrong. I called and explained what had happened. They apologized and sent another 400 within a week. I got a bill for $94. $10 express shipping plus $19.95 shipping. The 400 checks only cost $27 to begin with. There were handling fees, order fees, taxes ($5). I will never again order from this company. When I called to complain, they said it was all explained to me what the charges would be. I was not told what the final charge would be. They did, however, reimburse me $29 because I called and complained."

"I ordered checks several years ago that were shown with four different very rich background colors and four colorful well defined leaf designs. I had ordered a large number to get better price. Checks came and I was very disappointed as backgrounds were faded and all looked almost the same colors with leaf design so faded you could barely see what it was. I complained and was sent a new order which was just as bad. Because I had ordered so many to get better price I have been using them. I recently ordered new checks from different company and they are bright with clear colors and rich earth and tree designs on them. Will never use Checks Unlimited again."

"Quality control is needed! This is the second batch of rotating photo checks I've ordered and I am very disappointed. The photos are so light and washed out. I loved my previous order with its bright photos. I won't be ordering from Checks Unlimited again. "

"I ordered a box of the photo checks to be printed with a picture of my dogs standing behind my front gate. When I received the checks, I could barely make out what the photo was supposed to be of, much less see any detail. I called their "Customer Service" line and told them of my problem. The female CSR told me that they had to print them that way because of bank regulations, and there was nothing she could do. She had obviously heard of this same situation before. Needless to say, I will NEVER order checks from this company again!"

"They offer a 2 day service for $13.95. We received a notice that our checks were sent out 7/6. We did not receive them by 7/6. so we started asking questions. We were told it was our fault that we had not received them yet because our address is a PO Box and it was sent UPS. We live in a small town and even UPS knows where we are by looking at our name. We contacted UPS and we were told that checks unlimited contract was for UPS to take the package to the USPS, which took 4 days just to do the first step. Then the USPS has 7 days to get it to us. (Which meant they needed our PO Box to deliver it.) Four and seven added up to more then two! We do not like being lied to and being blamed for their inadequacies. We immediately order from someone else and refused their package when it did come. When we sent a complain by email to them, they said to send it to customer instead of forwarding it on themselves. That was the straw that broke the camels back."

"The company sent me a special promotion, which prompted me to place an order. "After" processing my order, Checks Unlimited bombarded me with emails claiming the offer was for new customers only; i.e., trying to get considerably more $$ from me. I knew I had never before placed an order with a company by this name ... and, it was the company that initiated contact with me through a mailed flyer. However, after finally identifying the overseeing Better Business Bureau (BBB), I wrote to file a complaint, only to receive a stark reply noting the company is registered under many names, so I had no grounds for complaint. I elevated this to the head of that BBB ... only to have her response to me be beyond rude. It seems Checks Unlimited is in bed with them, because her reply indicated it's perfectly fine to pull the wool over customers heads by luring them with a great Offer using a different company name, and then badgering them after filling the order from the Offer, in an attempt to get more money. I gave up on BBB, but the company of many names finally left me alone after I cc'd them on a complaint filed at the national level. I am now afraid to place any mail or online order for checks; i.e., for fear it may be Checks Unlimited by another name. :-( Certainly, I am not surprised to see all of its LOW ratings. I just regret not having researched the company before allowing myself to be gamed into placing an order. Hopefully the person reading this is doing the prerequisite research."

"My package has never arrived! I have been calling and speaking to both UPS and Checks Unlimited. So apparently my checks with my personal information are just floating around out there somewhere.... neither company has been any help with this issue. Checks Unlimited offered to send me a new order out, but now I fear that order will not make it either and there is apparently nothing that I can do about this."

"I have order before and was quite satisfied. My bank charges $21 for 100 checks now. So I order 400 checks. I received in 8 days. I opened merchandise only to see bank info my name and very faint colors. I called and explained situation. They resent 2nd day air from a different location. Same problem again. Spoke to a different person she said we will refund you or we will send overnight from headquarters. Same problem each time
I asked them to call printers said it was not their responsibility. 3rd call I was desparate. No checks left 21 days later that I could use. "

" My 11.99 box of checks there was only 100 (ordered several years ago 200 then). Wind up costing $31 and some change. I was livid I called customer service with a very rude man that said I should’ve known what I ordered. I was charged for an easy shield protection priority delivery I still had checks left I didn’t need them right away. Buyer beware I will never buy from them again and neither will my friends! I only write about two checks a month I could’ve got checks from my bank much cheaper! Better quality too! They will not let me return them because they said that they were already printed and they can’t except returns. I’ve been in customer service for many years that is a crock! They suggested I order another box yeah right at full price again and get screwed!

"Checked out with amount due including tax, shipping and handling. They charged my card more, when I called they said the total I quoted was not including that. BS, I reviewed everything before approving transaction. They dont email you confirmation of your bill when you order so you dont know until they already said it was processed and too late to cancel. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY"
