"WHY are these review NOT on their website? I found this site by accident and wish I had of seen it prior to purchasing my shoes. I received notice my shoes were shipped and would be delivered the day before a trip for which I purchased them. They did NOT arrive. Upon calling UPS was told they had not even shipped. Now I cannot find the phone number and had to go on my trip without my shoes. I am extremely disappointed and have a feeling I'm slowly becoming one of these people listed who never received their shoes or where it took months. In the faq section of their website, it states that orders are traditionally shipped within one day of being ordered and are usually received within a week. I have a feeling someone is not telling the truth.... I just want my shoes please. ADDENDUM: The company has contacted me, found my shoes and have re-shipped them, along with a partial refund. I appreciate companies who are willing to correct their mistakes."

I received the item that was available and the company communicated with me by e-mail and telephone to let me know when the 2nd item would be available. "The reviews for Comfortshoesny.com could radically change with a little common sense and attention to basic customer service standards.
I ordered a pair of shoes online on 9/12. Several days later, with no word on the status of my order, I emailed them. I received an email response the next day that they would not ship from the store for another 4-7 days. Since I was leaving for vacation soon (which was why I ordered them in the first place), I thought I’d call and ask if they could speed the order up. Their phone number is nearly impossible to find and once I did find it, I discovered that it was the phone number to a different store, but luckily with same owner. The courteous person answering the phone said he would try to speed it up and would let me know if/when this would happen. No follow up phone call or email was received. Several days later (now 13 days after I placed my order) I received an apologetic email that the shoes would ship in 4 days.
As of today of today the shipment tracking states the delivery will be on October 2. From a customer point of view, this is just silly. This is well after I leave for my vacation, rendering this entire frustrating ordeal a waste of my time and money.
ComfortshoesNY are not rude and I don’t believe that they are a scam, as some have suggested, just bad business people. I do most of my shopping online and have rarely dealt with such bad customer service. Maybe I’m lucky, but if I had more experiences like this, I would certainly start going back to shopping at stores. What good is an apology for shipping the shoes if you make no effort to rectify the situation (i.e. send them faster at your own expense and not via the slowest method to save yourself money). I think this is referred to as stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime.
I know I can send the shoes back, but that’s not the point. I’ll need shoes again and instead of shopping here, I’ll go back to Zappos or Amazon. In fact, Zappos will carry the shoes I ordered in a matter of months. If someone from this site had emailed or called with an honest estimation and/or explanation of when I would receive my order, this entire situation would have a different outcome. Maybe I wouldn’t have bought these shoes; maybe you could have offered me a better pair that would have been more expensive; maybe I would have said no thanks but because you were courteous, I would become a long term customer.

"I love this merchant for great selection/price, excellent customer service and free shipping/tax free transactions, though buyers should be aware that b/c some of the orders ship direct from the manufacturer, the order fulfillment time may be much longer than larger national retailers such as Nordstrom.com. I think if one enters the transaction knowing the order might take 2-3 weeks to fill, one's less likely to be disappointed from the experience.
Here is why I love these guys:
I ordered a pair of hard-to-find Dansko clogs on 6/23. I received periodic updates from the merchant on when the product was expected to ship via email. The order arrived on 7/22, and the shoes were too snug even though they were identical in size to an existing pair of Dansko clogs I have. When I contacted them via email, the merchant promptly issued me an RMA and also shipped another pair in exchange. This pair came much sooner, they arrived on 8/7, and fit perfectly. I felt I was treated with honesty and integrity throughout the experience. I will highly recommend them if you're looking for hard-to-find Dansko shoes and can afford to wait a few weeks for your order"
"I placed an order for a pair of shoes in APril. I was told they were on backorder, but would arrive in several weeks. I have repeatedly been told they are on the way. It is now August, and I cancelled my order. The status says will be shipped in 4 to 7 days, the same thing it has been saying for several months."
"Too bad I didn't read these comments before ordering from this company. I ordered a pair of flip-flops on May 23rd. I was told that they would be shipped in 1-2 weeks. On June 10th (2.5 weeks later) I was advised that they would not be shipped until June 22nd. Finally on July 6th, nearly 7 weeks after placing this order, the flip-flops were shipped to me. After wearing them no more than five times, the entire sole fell off one of them. I contacted Comfort Shoes, and it was suggested that perhaps I should have ordered a higher quality brand!!! Comfort Shoes does NOT stand behind what they sell. They will NOT take these flip-flops back, claiming that it is not their fault that THEY sold a poor-quality product, rather it is the fault of Cudas, the manufacturer. I did not buy these from Cudas, I bought them from Comfort Shoes, a really lousy retailer with extremely poor "customer service"."
"I ordered my shoes July 8th and on the confirmation email it said they would be shipped in 2-3 days. When I didn't get them, I emailed and was told it would be about a week. Again they didn't arrive and I emailed, and was told they'd ship on Friday the 24th. They didn't ship and now it is the 28th of June and I still don't have my shoes.
It was VERY difficult to come up with the money and I chose this store because of their discount. Buyer beware! If it looks too good to be true, it is. I have contacted Paypal to dispute the charge but I just wish the store would mail my shoes to me...

When asked if they would ship it over night at no cost to me since the delay was on their end i get a no! but we can give you 10% off instead...
