"I placed order after hours Fri pm. Did not hear from company at all, finally sent email on Wednesday morning. Only then did I receive a notice that the item was (again) sold out and on Back order. It was disappointing that it took that long to process.After my email prompt, communication was good.
Other than this issue, I was very pleased. I called the customer service rep about credit card problem, he was friendly, and we resolved the issue in under 5 minutes.
Product was as described, and Square trade warranty was a very big selling point. ( Nice not to have to go fill out yet another form...) Order tracking feature was a nice touch as well( using phone number as ID is brilliant!)
Overall, was a pleasant experience. Wish I hadn't had to wait an additional two weeks to receive my order.

"I ordered some speakers for my brothers birthday. It's been two weeks since my initial purchase and to date I have yet to receive the product. I've e-mailed twice with very polite requests for tracking numbers and/or an order update and have not been replied to. I've called the 1-800 number also, even putting in the extension for "Jeff" the customer service rep supposedly assigned to this order. I've only called this extension twice and both times have gone to voicemail - I have not left a message yet because I feel sometimes "problem customers" are more likely to be ignored. I've also called the general 1-800 number and waited on hold for 45 minutes (thank god for speakerphone) to no avail. I know it's not the case but it feels like nobody works there although somebody's glad to take your money and not deliver the goods. I've been very patient to this point and I'm happy to allow these companies some extra time during the holidays, but it seems I've been completely blown off. I've checked the website and now the product is listed on backorder and if they haven't shipped by now then I'm going to be a creek with no speakers.

Update - December 16. Product still hasn't arrived. Never received a notice of shipment or tracking information. I am going to my brother's birthday party tonight without a present. Would have gladly changed my review to three stars had the product arrived on the 14th or 15th as their company president indicated. Didn't happen.

Update - December 17. Still have received zero e-mail communication regarding backorder status or shipment/tracking information. None whatsoever. On a whim I decided to check their website and see about tracking the order manually that way. Low and behold that I did finally find out something. The order was picked up by FedEx yesterday (a day after the company president said I should have received it, and four days after it would be shipped "at the latest".
Here are some of my thoughts about compsource.com
1) It seems maybe that payments processed through Amazon Payments may keep orders from being processed efficiently - not entirely sure on that.
2) It looks like you've got a good overall business running here by the number of overall happy customers. When things work right all is well. What Compsource needs to focus on most is when things DON'T go right.
3) As a customer I understand that things happen, products get backordered, there are hiccups in shipping/order processing, etc. I get that. What is NOT acceptable is the complete lack of communication - especially not replying to direct e-mail inquiries. This needs to be fixed yesterday.
4) Mr/Ms President of Compsource - put your money where your mouth is. If you say something is going to happen by a certain time - make sure it happens. I manage a small business myself and I know that gosh darnit, sometimes things happen. If things don't work out right, apologize and do whatever it takes to make the situation right. Customers aren't interested in excuses but a little honesty and humility will go a long way.
