"The product I ordered from CompUPlus was great. I ordered a Cuisinart 7 qt. stand mixer and the price plus shipping was the lowest I found anywhere online or in retail stores.

However, the lack of customer service and dishonesty I got about the shipping and timing of my order will keep me from ever buying anything from CompUPlus or recommending them as a merchant.

My order was placed on 3/30/11 and supposedly shipped (according to their website) on 3/30/11 but that was far from the case. The order wasn't even picked up by UPS until 4/5/11 and it shipped from Dallas TX, not NY where the website says this company is based out of. I tried to communicate several times with the company via email and phone about where my order was and to ascertain a tracking number but I never got a response. Not until I threatened to complain to the BBB was the tracking number placed on the website. Long story, short...my mixer arrived long after it was promised and past the date I needed it for an important project. It was new and it good condition but NOT ONCE was I ever contacted by the company to explain or appologize for they delay in shipping. And I did file a complaint with the BBB. Buyer beware!!"

"It was the only place in the US where I could find an ASUS p8p67 deluxe motherboard I needed in a hurry. Check their prices and they were about 7% higher than I would pay buying at NewEgg but, again, this motherboard couldn't be found anywhere so, it was a small price to pay to have it. Call them to check stock and the guy who got my call wasn't exactly "super nice" but he confirmed they had it in stock so I placed the a next day order... I confess I wasn't so sure and only went for it because they are listed at the ASUS site but...i've got the motherboard as promised, next day, sealed box, brand new and was able to fill my promises with my client. I would give a 4 1/2 stars, being the half only because of the sales guy... otherwise the company will be in my purchase list from now on and hopefully the premium price was only due to a market shortage...
