Abolutely horrible. Ordered an item on 12/20/07. Sales rep assured me the item was in stock and would ship same day. Two days later, my order still didn't ship. Called them, then they told me my item was in a box waiting for fedex to pick it up. Another two days pass, no shipment. Called again, waited on hold for an hour, and the sales rep said that the item was not in stock, and they would be getting them in stock that day or tomorrow. Turns out, they lied about all of this, and to this day (3 weeks later) they still don't have it in stock, and naturally they charged me for everything. Now they are arguing with me about cancelling my order.

"I called Comparemaster to make sure they had the GPS I wanted in stock as I was leaving on a 4 day trip 2 days latter.
I spoke to someone who assured me the item was in stock. I was then informed that it was after 3:00 and they would have to ship it the next business day.- I ordered it to be shipped overnight the next day. The next afternoon I checked my order and it had not been shipped yet so I called again. I was transferred to the order escalation dept. whatever that is. I was assured by the person on the phone that the order would ship that same day- not to worry.
Here it is the day I am supposed to receive the GPS and my order shows as "authorized" not shipped. I just got off the phone with the order escalation dept again- they said my order did not ship and there is nothing they can do about it.
I'm leaving tomorrow morning without the GPS (Garmin ZUMO 550) $675.00.
I would recommend to never do business with this company. They seem very disorganized and ruined my trip before it ever started.
They did not offer to make this good in any way.
The price would have been worth it if I got what I ordered and it was delivered when it was supposed to be.
They did however charge my card right away. At least their accounting dept is on the ball, LOL."

"This is the absolute worst place to buy anything. The customer service at this place is impossible to deal with, they cannot answer anything after you buy a product, you have to talk to their "billing" department, which is outsourced to the philippines, and god knows how that goes. You can't ask them anything unless it's in their script. I bought a Garmin 670 for $659, they took the money out of my account but are telling me that my order is incomplete and no one will help me. It's been 6 days now dealing with them everyday, some days they tell me it's been shipped and other days like today they are telling me it's still incomplete and they are not doing anything to fix it. In the mean time they have my money and I'm getting more and more frustrated and they have the balls to tell me that I need to calm down and not be frustrated at the situation. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. Unless you want to be ripped off and treated like they deserve your money and can treat you however they want and you have to just deal with it."

"Purchased a Garmin Nuvi 680 at a great price. Received order confirmation, authorization and shipment emails on the day I ordered. Chose free shipping option and had the Garmin in a week, well packaged and brand new. I did not receive the usual phone call for credit card verification which turns into a high pressure sales pitch to buy way overpriced accessories, something common with a lot of other online resellers in the Brooklyn area. Its been 11 days, and I have not recieved my package. Last I've checked, its still sitting at their warehouse waiting to be shipped. Accessing their website right now, and its returning a SQL server error. I've emailed them about my order and I have not gotten a response, the email was sent 5 days ago."
