"Terrible...I ordered a new part and they send me a USED part. There rma department was terrible, then they wanted to charge me a restocking fee. I was forced to to complain and they finally gave me back to entire amount. All in all I am still waiting for the refund. I had to pay to return the product. Stay away unless to want you $$$$ to be stalled for 2 months.
Remember all the comments from compuvest were made after I made a stink...not before. The sop when dealing the a good company is that they refund immediately and then wait for the return AND that they DO NOT send you USED parts when they advertise NEW.
From I have read they say "new" but what they really means is "tested has ok". They don't even peel off the sticker on the used products. Sounds fishy to me !
After MANY conversations with these 'folks' and we had come to a understanding that they would refund the entire amount.
They refund the price amount MINUS restocking fee.
STAY FAR AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I'm having a hard time believing the A/V receiver I bought (which worked for 20 minutes before simply quitting with a little red "MCACC" light flashing in anger at me) was NEW as advertised, as the manual was creased and dirty. Rather, I think it was "as new," because Compuvest is selling the same piece on eBay - for more money - "as new." That is defined as an item that could be a return, a second, or anything else so long as it looks "new." Hard to believe they sell a really "new" one on their own site for less than an "as new" one on eBay. Frankly, if I'm right, I find this deceptive and I don't appreciate it. "The product: Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000, two keys did not work, and the light on the keyboard didn't function. Called to return same day I first used the product, was told by two different people they had no more available, I could get a refund, or swap for another product - and pay the difference if it was a higher priced product. They have 8 more of the exact model product available, but at a higher price. Received information to return the product, was told I had to pay the shipping - as the product is defective, I wasn't thrilled as I have to do that if I send it to Microsoft themselves. Contacted Microsoft directly and am returining the product to them instead, and getting the replacement from them. Will not order from CompuVest again.
2/21/12 - Today I received a follow-up response from Compuvest offering to send a return shipping label and a refund in a very well written and professional response. Unfotunately, offering it now is too late, I've already returned the product to Microsoft - they received it, and have shipped the new one to me already. Had Compuvest's response come within even a few days of when I sent my complaint, it would have reached me in time, but a few weeks is too late. Thank you, though, for your response."

"Absolutely horrible. They sent me what I did not order. When I returned it they did not refund my shipping fee to my home, nor my shipping fee to get the item back to them. Furthermore they charged me a 25% restocking fee. In response to CompuVest's response. It was advertised as a Latin American Spanish keyboard. I never opened the product's container itself. I only opened the shipping box. I could see from reading the product's packaging that it was a standard English keyboard with Spanish labeling on its package. The only thing Spanish about it was the labeling on the package."
"I ordered a router from compuvest. My CC was charged the next day but I never got shipping confirmation. After 4 business days I used the online chat to contact compuvest. They told me my ordered was cancelled because the product did not work but the person would put in a request to refund my credit card. I asked how they could tell the new in box product didn't work and they told me the product was not new. When I ordered it said nowhere that this product was used.
I would avoid doing business compuvest
1. They sell used items without stating they are used
2. They have poor customer service. They cancelled my order and did not refund my CC or contact me.
UPDATE: 1 more reason not to do business with compuvest
Compuvest had resellerratings remove my review because they claimed they could not verify the transaction. I verified the invoice number and date were correct. Compuvest buries negative reviews with false claims. I provided a copy of my invoice to a helpful employee of resellerratings and was able to get my review reinstated.

"Bought a refurbished computer that was DOA on receipt. They obviously never tested or even worked on the computer, so we asked for a refund, which took 1.5 hours of phone and email to just get an RMA number. We kept getting shuffled between support people. Finally, sent (with video documentation) and they approved receipt but that we had to pay return shipping. We asked them to refund return shipping as they never tested. After several more emails and many phone calls, we got approval for return shipping. THEN, they backed out and lowered our refund to $10. No one takes ownership and no one claims authority to handle problems.
They may be a good company if things go OK, but if you have a problem product, I would doubt your experience would go well. Awful experience."
