"I ordered 2 touchscreen computers and only one arrived, damaged, and without touchscreen! The charged my credit card for the two and 10 days later refunded the one that didn't arrive. I disputed the charge for the other one and they said they will send me an RMA that never came. They are scammers!!!"
"I ordered a Asus Laptop K42jy-ai on February 15, 2012. I always check reviews on items being ordered and the company that I am ordering from. This time I was so interested in the item, I did not review the company. As soon as had completed the order it dawned on me. I immediately check reviews on Compu-America. I was horrified. I figured I would receive a used non working laptop.
I had paid for the item to ship 2nd day air. I ordered on the Wednesday the 15th and the item was shipped on Monday the 20th. The item was shipped next day air. Very impressive!!!
The item was received packaged great. The item is new, and exactly as described. I am very happy with the company and have nothing negative to say.
I would buy form this company again.

Then, receiving the chord took about 20 calls and a lot of hassle and wasted time. When we finally received the chord, it did not work. Huge waste of time and money. "Apparently what this place does is take orders for items they say are "in stock", then they get freight-damaged or closeout goods through e-bay and have the stuff drop-shipped. The toner cartridges I got took over three weeks to get to me (altho they charged my credit card the first week) and came from two different places; each came with an e-bay seller's enclosure. What really ticked me off was the pricing. The e-bay receipts indicated that this company had paid the e-bay sellers $80 for one cartridge, and $100 for the other. But Compu-America charged me $171 and $209, respectively, for those cartridges. The boxes appear to be genuine manufacturer's products, but they are in a style that the manufacturer stopped using over a year ago. So these are obviously old, probably damaged freight or something like that. Wish I'd checked some on-line reviews before I ordered!"
"I initially read all the one star reviews, but thought these were just BS. To my stupidity, I still ordered from them – 2 Western Digital hard drives priced at $60/drive. After ordering, I called the next day to see when the shipment would be delivered. Apparently there was a “glitch” in their system and the price that I purchased the drives for (and I received a confirmation email from them) was incorrect and the correct price was double what the site was selling for. Complete waste of time. Perfect example of a “bait and switch”. The best part of all of this, a few days later I checked their site again and they are still selling the same drive for $60. Don’t waste your time…"
"Company is junk! Ordered a printer from them and got my confirmation email. 2 weeks later, still no shipping confirmation. Called and the person said, "Oops", that printer is broken so we are going to cancel your order.
Really? Waited 2 weeks for me to call and then realized that the printer is non-functioning. Now hopefully the money is returned timely.

I ordered a Lexmark T640 ($266.22) from this web-store, they did delivered very quick but with a wrong ITEM, T630...
T630 is fine to us anyway we need a network printer so bad so we keep it.
But this T630 only value $214.20 in their web-site, so
I called and asking for my difference $52.02 back. The sales girl said it is ok to refund and will e-mail to me let me show to my boss.
But until today, 07/19/11, did not see any e-mail. So I called again, the NICE girl said we can only have $30 refund because they dont have T630 anymore and can't change it to T640 either
b/o they dont have T640 now.
I check up the website, they remove the T630 but they still have
T640!!! THIS IS A BAD BAD EXPERIENCE FOR ME EVER!!! They lie and

"We ordered a new HP Procurve switch which they said was in stock. After a call from Customer Service asking about our billing address vs. the shipping address (Website very cumbersome to break apart separate ship to addresses) we were told order was all set and shipping 2nd day air, as we needed it for following Monday. When Monday came, no order was delivered, the website showed pending and our credit card was billed, with the 4103 for 2nd day air freight. When we called, we were asked to hold for 10 minutes, then we were asked if they could call us back. Their final resolution was that the item was not new, it was used and it would be at a lower price and could ship Tuesday (Still Monday AM at this point) and we could have it Wednesday. When we asked to speak to a supervisor, after we were told item had shipped on Thursday, we were put on hold for another 10 minutes. We were then told that all supervisors were busy and we would get a call back. That was 5 hours ago, we found a new switch from Avanti and it will be here tomorrow, next day air and we have the tracking information from FedEx already. The net cost after freight was $15 more from Avanti."
"Diane Sanchez in my office ordered this phone (brand-new)for me, which was then delivered to us. I received the phone on 13th-Dec, and found that the phone was in Used condition - the Phone battery was pre-installed, their was existing phone-book and call-log with 25 previously dialed numbers,the phone came in a loose box instead of the original one, "12-08 Refurb" is engraved on the handset and there are some minor scratches on the device/handset.
I called Compu-America and spoke to Farid, who mentioned that this phone was shipped from one of their vendors, and the vendor claim that the phone was sent as brandnew. I am still trying to resolve the case, and have been told today that they cannot garantee that they will be able to provide me with a new device and I will have to send the current phone back to them. This is not a good customer service and we had difficult experience to make the order entry and now in receiving the device as brand-new which we paid for.
Any help to resolve the matter will be appreciated.

The sales person said it was never shipped and did not bother to say sorry etc. etc... i canceled the order but still waiting for my refund. sounds like a scam or fraud company."
"Do not order from this company. They have a score of F with the BBB for good reason. They have awful customer service. I placed an order and it never shipped. They took money out of my account (dummy used debit card) and they never sent tracking number so I called every day for over a week. I still don't have any information. Filed complaint through Visa who is investigating now."

Called them on Aug 24 since I was not notified that the printer shipped. Was told that the printer was not in stock. Unclear when it would ship. Called a few days later to cancel the order since no word. Was told that the product manager would be back in the office in one hour and that I would be called then. Got an e-mail about 2 hours later saying that the printer I wanted was not available, but offered a resonable substitue at the same price. I accepted. Printer arrived on Sept 2, 15 days after it was ordered."
"This is probably too late to complain but we are a small non-profit historical society, privetly funded,. We ordered a reconditioned flatbed scanner for $333.20. Our volunteer help was slow in getting it hooked up and when the warranty had run out a few days, we found it would not work properly. A phone call to a foreigner accomplished nothing. We could ill aford to waste over $300."

"DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! I cannot emphasize this enough! I ordered two apc upb10 battery packs from them with three day select shipping because they were the cheapest. 10 days later I call to see where they are because my flight was coming soon and I needed the battery packs. They tell me they don't have the item in stock (Their website clearly stated it was in stock) and they have to order it from another company. I told them to cancel the order because I didn't have time to wait for it. They told me they were going to charge me a 20% restocking fee! They wanted to charge me for an item they didn't even have! I told them I refused to pay that and they said they were going to charge me anyways. I finally got the issue resolved and bought my items from a reputable company. I hope no one else makes the same mistake I did."
