"I placed my order on 10/3/05, and it's now 10/17/05 and I still have not received my order. It's been 14 days. 10 of those have been business days. I called last wed asking about my order and they said they couldn’t look it up because their system is down, they will call me back. After an hour I called back, and again they told me they would call me back. This time I waited two hours. I called them back. I talked to the same person all three times. They told me there was an error on my order and it was my fault. They said when I sent the paypal money; I didn't include my shipping address. I looked at the copy of my invoice from paypal, and the address was not there, but the order number was. My argument was that I wanted my name and business name to appear on the label the way I had sent it on the website. I also asked why my address wasn't looked up via the order number. Even if my address was on the paypal, it didn't have an item. As such they still would have had to look at the order to see what I ordered. I was angry at this point. I asked her if there was anything she could do to expedite the process, and get my item that I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks to me. I need this for business. She gave me a real attitude, and told me I would get 3-day air. It's now 3 business days, and I didn't get my item. I called them up, and they said their system was down. For a computer part reseller to not know how to keep the system up scares me."
"I ordered a Seagate ST980825A 80GB 2.5" hard drive for my notebook from ComputerBrain which their website listed as instock. Two days later I got an email saying that they were actually out of stock with no ETA for the part. I realize that this is a very hard part to track down, the only other site that had it in stock was charging $150 more for it, but it was dissapointing that their website was incorrect. It is now a month later and they finally got the part in. There was an issue with my shipping address being different than my billing address (didn't see anything about that on their site) and the first customer service rep that I talked to was not helpful at all, though the second person I talked to (on a different day) was and I got it straightened out. As I did not get the part personaly I can't vouch for the state of packaging, etc. but the company it was shipped to didn't seem to have any problems with it."
