"Only problem I had with this company was that they didn't ship my video card until tues when I ordered it on Fri. I did recieve it on thurs with ground shipping so it wasn't too bad. If they would get things out faster I would have no problem recommending them to anyone."
"The order process as usual went very smoothly and the item arrived very timely. My only issue was that I paid for premium packaging and the item came in a box loose with a small plastic air bag in side. This in my opinion is standard shipping not premium."
"Great job with shipping. Came on time and packaged real good."
"No Problems, delivery on time. Product in great condition."
"I AM THE OWNER OF A SMALLER COMPANY WITH A NETWORK OF SEVEN COMPUTERS AND TWO HP LAZER PRINTERS COLOR & B&W. I BUILD AND MAINTAIN MY COMPUTERS AND NETWORK SYSTEM. I FIND YOUR MOTHERBOARDS AND CPU PRICING VERY COMPETITIVE. YOUR MEMORY PRICING IS WELL ABOVE AVERAGE.
THANK YOU

"everything went very smoothly, very satisfied the product arrived just as ordered."
"I found that computer brain was very competent and competitive on prices. But unfortunately i had to talk to their customer service a bunch, but also found them competent. "
"bought a motherboard- went like a dream. Fast shipping. Good customer service. Highly recommended."
"ComptuerBrain.com has a very quick delivery turnaround. Would buy from again."
"Great price for my BFG nVidia 6800GT, easy to navigate, fast shipping"
"Great service, site is easy to use, and product arrived earlier than expected! Great business and I'm very pleased and hope to do more business with them soon!"
"I bought a CPU from this place, and they called me to verify the purchase. They SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME that I had 120 days of OEM warranty on the phone, so when my CPU died the first time I tried to use it, I didn't bother RMAing it because I thought I had time. Well as it turns out, the warranty was only for 20 days, and now that I have a dead CPU that I've never used, they won't do anything for me...even though they mislead me and told me that the warranty was for 120 days. They got all defensive saying "We've been selling Pentium FOUR for the past 14 years and never had anyone complain. It must be something you've done." I don't think that Pentium 4's have been for sale for the past 14 years! So now they have $167 of my money and I have nothing for it. I never plan on buying anything from this company ever again, and I plan on making sure my friends know about my lost battle with computerbrain.com"
"****DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY****
I ordered a new laptop from Computer Brain.
They were not the cheapest or most professional looking, but they offered the capability to add extra RAM to the notebook with the order.
I made the order on the website & received confirmation shortly after, everything seemed fine.
I then emailed them with a question regarding my order, to this I received no reply. 2 days later I called them to ask my question and this was dealt with satisfactorily.
They then called that evening and left voice mail regarding my order.
When I called them back I was advised the notebook I had been confirmed for by email, and after my last telephone conversation, was not in stock and would take a few more days.
I agreed to this (it happens) and agreed with the support staff that they would upgrade my shipping from 3 day to overnight free of charge because of the extra wait.
I then received a call 9 days later, again in the evening, which again went to voice mail (my fault).
I called them back the following morning.
The lady on the phone said they had the laptop in now but did not have the extra RAM I ordered. They would send out the notebook & send the RAM at a later date. This is not what I had in mind, as I didn’t want to install the RAM myself.
But again I said this would be OK.
She then advised me that they wouldn’t send it over night as previously agreed.
As I have now waited for 10 days on my 3-day order and I’m not going to get my full package I’m getting a little upset.
The lady was very unhelpful and on the point of being rude. Her English is broken and we were not getting anywhere.
I spoke to the manager, Sam Ponawele, who was even more unhelpful and extremely rude & again has broken English.
He explained that the notebook I ordered was now $99 dollars more. Not only should I pay this I would also only get ground shipping unless I wanted to pay an extra $70.
No being very upset and angry I cancel my order, before something else goes wrong, I do not want to deal with this company any longer.
He then hangs up the phone without so much as a goodbye.
I have emailed them to cancel my order, but I doubt they will respond. I have had to call the bank to advise them not to make any payment, as I do not trust this company.
Overall I am most upset.
I am even more upset with myself for not having found this site until after my problems.
Had I read this site before I wouldn’t have gone with them in the 1st place.
Every bad report on here is true of my experience with them."
"I ordered a mainboard and processor combo for a computer I was building for my terminally ill mother. The combo I recieved was pre-assembled and both components were defective. I could accept the possibility that this could happen. However, I have recived nothing but hassles and disrespect from this company. They tested the parts that came with an "Instant Swap" waranty and found them defective as well only after trying to tell me that I was installing them wrong. Now, a month later, after my mother has died and will not get to enjoy her new computer, they are stonewalling me by placing me on hold indefinitely, claiming they their systems have gone down, and more disrespect. I would advise anyone looking for computer components to avoid this company at all costs."
"I just received a new laptop from these guys yesterday (which I love, btw). I had initially called them because they had a low price (albeit not the lowest) on the Asus M6BNe barebones. I decided to pay a little more because it only took them 5 minutes to respond to an email I sent, whereas the other company I was looking at ended up taking a couple of days to get back to me. When I called to order the item, Sameera was helpful and she asked me what prices I had for the other components. I told her and she offered to match everything (more or less) and told me they could assemble/burn in the machine there for free. That sounded like a good deal, so I went for it.
I had some payment issues, like I told them they could charge $500 now and the rest on Tuesday.. then I called later and said I wouldn't have the money till Wednesday.. just some stuff like that. They didn't give me any attitude and they didn't screw it up.
When I initially called, they told me they had everything in stock. I don't know if it was the extra day or so that I delayed payment, but apparently when it came time to ship the computer, something was out of stock and it didn't go out that day. To their credit, they got their stock problems resolved and overnighted the machine to me, putting it here the same day as originally quoted.
People who have bad experiences with Computer Brain and similar small computer companies probably approach it like they would go into Staples or CompUSA, with guns blazing and demands flying. It would probably be a lot easier for dealers to ignore irritating people if they could laugh all the way to the bank.. but the margins in computers are crap, apparently crappy enough that they don't feel like dealing with your obnoxious attitude. I found everyone I came into contact with at this company gave me the same respect I gave them, their prices are some of the best around, and the company showed integrity by sticking to its word about shipping. I'm happy with them."
