"I´ve bought a Samsung laptop on the black friday. They immediately charged my card, but a week later the order still wasn´t shipped. When I contacted then asking about the delay, they just cancelled the order. The thing is I used a debit card, and I need the money they took to buy at another store. Very frustrating."
"I've always gotten good products from Geeks.com and will probably order from them again. "
"The items arrived quickly but I was disappointed that I was not allowed to get the sale price even though I had jus purchased them 4 days prior.
Would have definately bought one more if I had received the $20 back per tablet.

"Wow it was very nice to see that what i recieved was exactly what i ordered. Shiping was faster than stated! Great customer service."
"i ordered a rare "AMD Phenom II X4 955 95W" version quad core cpu for my dell inspiron 546. computer geeks actually had it in stock and actually shipped the right 95W cpu instead of the more common 125W phenom ii x4 955 which would not work in my cheap dell. shipping was very slow (order 11-6 received 11-14) but that was because i chose the free shipping so that's on me not them. overall i will shop from them again it was a easy process and they offer many payment types and many shiping options."
"I've been dealing with Computer Geeks for almost as long as they have been around. I've always gotten great deals. If I've had a problem, their Customer Service people have always been friendly and solved the problem quickly.
Bottom Line: You cannot go wrong if you buy from Geeks.com."
"I've been buying from Geeks.com for over 10 years now and have always had good luck with them. The desktop was probably the most expensive item I have bought from them, but since it was a Gateway brand name, I did not at all feel uncomfortable buying from them."
"Purchased a refurbished HP PC from geeks.com.
Pros:
1. Lowest price I could find for a Windows 7 Professional PC that includes the Windows 7 Professional DVD.
2. PC was as clean as a new one, inside and out, save for some light scuff marks on the case which I expected with a refurbished machine.
Cons:
1. Shipping took longer than originally quoted (2 days late).
2. Foam shipping blocks appear to have been attached to the PC with some sort of adhesive. They were hard to remove and each one left a layer of styrofoam on the PC case.
3. Hard drive was loose and rattling around in its mount. There was a loose screw (from the hard drive) inside the case. All screws on the hard drive had to be tightened.
4. Even after reinstalling the loose shoulder screw the hard drive still is not secured in the mount. I suspect there is another piece missing as it uses plastic retainers to secure the drive.
After about 10 minutes spent securing the hard drive and reseating all cables the PC booted up and appears to be working OK though the hard drive is noisy as it operates. I don't know if geeks.com refurbishes these things or they are done somewhere else, but I would hope they pay a little more attention to what they are doing when they do the final assembly, test, and packing."
"I have been a customer of Geeks.com for about eight years now and have spent thousands of dollars and still buying. I've purchased Many items for building systems to buying many laptops. The laptops were Toshiba and all were refurbished and yet to have any problems with any and will be buying another one. The first laptop had a minor defect where the piece the battery plugs into fell out. I called, they sent me info to print out a form, take it to the PO and mailed it back free and had a replacement in about two weeks and that one is still going strong. Once, a power supply was sent and was the wrong kind...they made the mistake. I called about it, they fixed it and sent the correct one and told me not to worry about sending the other one back. Now, how nice is that!
I have no complaints with Geeks. Customer support has been superior and goes all out to help. The same goes for shipping. the items are well packed in a box with bubble packs filling in the empty spaces. Sometimes the package or box may have have scrunches or torn edges, etc. but it's not the company, it's FedEx. If you see how they throw and pounce around boxes and package going from one transport to another you wouldn't blame Geeks. Blame the deliverer. Remember, you will never have perfect CS Anywhere, Any company. There will Always be a bad apple in the bunch or maybe someone is new and in training. I always take the time to explain and have them repeat back to me. The key is patience in explaining and most of all Listening! If you can't do that, then the fault is Yours.
As for time, I've gotten most all my stuff on time and some a little late and nothing ever broken. I usually buy when there is free shipping but have paid for shipping too. When you are getting items shipped for free and no tax, you all shouldn't complain at all. Remember, they ship all over the world.
I just put in my last big order order number and date. I've ordered several times after this one. Thanks Geeks."
"I feel this a great company to deal with. Great service and great products."
"I love Geeks.com They are the first place I look for most any piece of computer-related equipment or accessories I need. "
"Their prices are stellar, and their selection of items is unbeatable. The only issues I've ever had have come from their shipping department.
Shipments placed on Thursday nights, are not shipped until Tuesday morning in my experience, despite the claims that the company is open Monday through Friday. This causes shipment times in excess of 12 days due to layover time during the weekend, which can be a hassle if you're ordering a part for a computer which is necessary.
Their customer service e-mail system is also lacking in my opinion, I have sent multiple e-mails through their system and have yet to received a response. This, however, should not be reflected as normal circumstances, as they may be exceedingly swamped with e-mails.
(Edit: Still no response to my e-mails to customer service. Obviously my complaint is not worth responding to.)
Overall an above average online retailer, just hope you don't need customer support."
"Bought a computer from Computer Geeks. Sent me a defective one. So I returned for exchange. They then canceled my order and issued a PARTIAL refund. Contacted them and they refused to fully refund me because it is their policy. "
"Very satisfactory. The website is easy to navigate, ordering is simple and I've never had a problem with an order."
"Shipped late. No refund on shipping. Customer service line was disconnected on first two attempts. Wont be ordering again. "
