"I bought nearly $100 on DVD+R DL media from these folks. Nearly all I tried tested bad in every DVD Burner I had ( I have 4 different DVD burners all purchased through them. ) Normally these people are pretty good about servicing complaints. but this time they dropped the ball. I sent them and email explaining the problem. No one got back with on the problem until a month later after the defect warranty period had expired. I have basically bought a $100 worth of coasters. Thanks Geeks. I will buying my media elsewhere ,that is, unless you guys can bolster my confidence in your products !!! "

"I have been dealing with Geeks.com for quite some time, I can honestly say that I for one have tried SEVERAL online stores for computer related items, and yet I still find myself returning back to Geeks.com for purchases.. I have Never had a bad experience dealing with the company, in one situation, i bought a tower to build my daughters a computer.. Only to find out that the power supply was bad. I had contacted Geeks.com with the issue and within 3 days I had a brand new power supply to which was also upgraded from a 300 Watt to a 600 Watt without further charge. The service I have experienced with this company is great, and i will remain a loyal customer to Geeks.com."

Wow, Computergeeks.com

No, that's not a good wow. I'm very disappointed in this company. I have read these reviews and wish I had done first before buying from this seemingly money-grubbing website. They find every way possible to make more money and to get more out of you. I ordered a 6 pc speaker set, 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer. I noticed some damage on the speakers physically, not sound wise, when I got them, I set them up, it took me hours to finally set it up, they include no manuals and as a person who's been using the same speakers for 8 years I was a bit confused, I have set up speakers w/ custom computers but there was more cords than expected and there was no manual so anyone computer illiterate would be very confused, their phone customer supports' speed was decent but they acted like I was an idiot for asking the question. My sound card was capable as it's a Sound Blaster Audigy 2. The speakers were not the problem, it was the cords. The cords were more sensitive then a Democratic Sissy British Polyenna at a Global Warming Convention. Any movement whatsoever caused the speaker to cut out, on top of this, I had 5 speakers, the cords on two were not that sensitive, but, the subwoofer was so sensitive, and we had to hold our hands on the cords and put them in odd angles to get the sensitive ones to work (4 out of 6 of the speakers/subwoofer were very sensitive as mentioned), and even then it only "kind of" worked, when we moved our hands away, only the front right speaker worked. My 1999 Speakers sounded better. On top of this, the shipping is rather expensive and they expect you to pay THEIR shipping as well as yours. Wow! $12 each way, $24, the speakers were $25.99, might as well just buy a whole new speaker set! Totally pathetic. Honestly, I have never seen such a bad computer store in my years of buying, this computer simply had old speakers in need of replacement, I have built computers, I have reviewed websites, this is by far the worst. They just want money, not customer service. I'm going to try to find people who can help me fix this rather than send it to them, I'd rather go to some over-expensive stuck up computer shop then wait weeks up to months for this greedy poor customer serviced company to send me new speakers after I've paid out of my ass. Geeks.com, if you're reading this, please contact me immediately. I am not happy as you can tell.

Edit: Apparently they gave me a refund. I will make a second edit when and if I get it. If they truly did issue a refund then perhaps I was too harsh haha.

Edit: They issued me a refund, they told me it was processing then it didn't get processed at the date, they apologized and said they did it again. It STILL didn't go through, so I complained through e-mail and again through the Incidents Section of my account. After a few days they got back to me and told me it was processing. Finally today the cash got to my Paypal and I bought some Logitech X-230 speakers. I ordered in the middle of September, on the day I received it I complained immediately, it took until the beginning of October to get a refund. But, at least they pulled through. BE WARNED!
