"I needed to return the item I ordered because it didn't work on my computer system. On December 26, 2007 I started my request for a RMA number. I called on the phone and had to wait to talk to someone. After a 15 to 20 minute wait on hold, I person came on the line and said they were busy and they would call me back later that day. On December 28, 2007, I sent my first email request for a RMA number. I eventually sent 2 more email requests. On January 4, someone from Geeks.com return department called me. He indicated that he was responding to my December 28 email. That person handled my request politely, professionally and to my complete satisfaction. I was disappointed in the amount of time and effort it took to get someone to respond to me, but I was very pleased with the response. I suspect some personnel might have been on vacation during the holiday season"
"I have done business with 'Geeks' before and have always had superb service. Shipping was always speedy (2-3 days). I just purchased a computer case and when I received it, the handle was damaged. I called support, and although I had to wait on the phone for a long time, I received exemplary service! They replaced my case for free and I didn't have to return the damaged one. Thank you Geeks! "Merchandise was as expected. Shipping was high. Part of the shippment, a heatsink fan costing only $7.99 had to be signed for before postman would leave it! I wasn't very happy about that. But as I said, the merchandise was as expected and prices were good! I doubt I will do much shopping here anymore because of the outragously high shipping costs."

Called for RMA
Spent 30 min listening to message about ‘commitment to excellence etc…’ received and incident number was forward to ‘technical department to get the RMA’ spent another 30 listening to the message about ‘deduction to excellence’ just to hear another message that tech department is closed.
Bottom line:
1) Holyday surprise is spoiled.
2) Wasted an hour of my time on the phone and still have no RMA

" I ordered a refurbished Dell computer and a set of keyboard and mouse. The price is cheap, and they shipped them the second day. But the computer was damaged during shipping had a crack on the case. Contact Fedex right away, and called Geeks their bussiness hours.
I told them the problem, and no problem with the return. They provied a RMA, incident number and a prepaid Fedex shipping tag through email. And I was going to get a full refund including original shipping cost. Cause I called fedex first, so they picked the computer up and sent it back to sender before I saw that prepaid tag. But no problem, computer still got Geeks without paying any shipping fee myself.
They updated the return status on their website, so you can track. After they received the computer, they refunded our moeny back to our credit card in a about a week.
Well, except their poor packing of the computer, other things of Geeks are fine. I am satisfied with their return service. "

"For the most part....the company is really awsome! I agree with most of the reviews I read that the prices are great. The only issue I had is a door intercom I received recently worked well for about 2 months and then just quit. The chime part decided that it didn't want to activate anymore when the call button was pushed.
I called support, was on hold for appx. 45 minutes before a live person even answered, had to switch to my cell to continue the call to avoid a rather big long distance bill. The operater was really cool about replacing it, but I have a left arm injury that's permanent and uninstalling the unit from the system it was set up in was extremely difficult and left me in a pretty high level of pain/discomfort for about 3 days..having it now as i type this actually.
The operator stated that the company wasnt able to send me a prepaid label for its return..but...the next day, a fedex label was on my email inbox..i though that was very nice of him to do since shipping costs about 25.00 one way to ship to California from Pennsylvania.
Im waiting to get the new one as we speak to try and reisntall it yet again.
