"I ordered twice from console source. My most recent experience was pretty bad. I received a defective product and subsequently filed a RMA request for a refund over a week ago on their support web site. I still haven't heard from them... It's going to be a hassle to dispute the charge to get my money back.

Long story short, if you are lucky and get a working merchandise, you will be fine. If you ever need to return a defective product, you will be sorry.

"Ordered an item on the 17th of January and the item supposedly shipped on the 18th of January. I still don't have it. I submitted two customer support tickets and have yet to hear back. Not impressed!

Got responses to my support tickets, basically telling me it's in the shipping window Canada Post specifies. 3 weeks to go 460 miles is bit much. Console source should stop using this shipping method to the US.

Got my item on February 8th and it works perfectly.

"I ordered 5 m3i zeros just before Christmas for my friends and me, and I was completely fine with the delay it took to ship, although, I was disappointed with the products I received. The M3i zero is still fairly new being out for over a year now, but they recently came out with a second model referred to as the gmp-z003, which is what I was shipped. This model has had some problems when attempting to flash the firmware onto the sd card, which is required in order to use the product. All of the descriptions and pictures on the website do not specify that it is this newer, worse product they have in stock. To consolesource's credit, the boxes are practically identical; the only noticeable difference is some tiny text on the cartridge itself.

I thought that the carts I received were DOA because they were not flashing the firmware. I own the original M3i zero, so I thought I knew how to perform the flashing process. As it turns out, the process changed slightly with the newer model, which I now know thanks to a response that I received from consolesource after I initially posted this review. It is now necessary to flash the f_core.dat file before flashing the system software, and I have just confirmed that all 5 M3i zeros are working properly.

I would recommend consolesource.com to other buyers; however, I hope no one else has to deal with the less than satisfactory customer service that I had to endure.

"i have place two orders with console source with no problems .i had my order within three days i throught this was great seeing as i live in northern ontario on my first order one of the products did'nt work so i called them got through right away .no problem they just send out a new one same thing had it within three days.with instruction as how to send back the old one.just like that .great service i will use them again for my orders thank you very much shelley kennedy"

"great website. i was originally referred to console source by a friend who said they had great shipping and prices, and they do for sure. i was a little disappointed to see some of the reviews on here relating to their customer service but i thought i'd pick up an r4 for my DS because it was the cheapest i'd ever seen hands down. i placed my order and received a pop up from the site about a free 2gb micro sd card if i reviewed the site here. shortly after i placed my order, the shipment status was demoted to "queued" for a few days so i opened a ticket to try to talk to somebody, unfortunately they were closed for the day so the next day i waited until business hours and clicked the live help banner below the sign-in on their site. contrary to things i've read here about customer service, i was immediately greeted by a sales rep. i proceeded to tell him about my ticket and gave him my order number, within a minute he opened my ticket and replied on live chat saying my r4 had unexpectedly gone on backorder but he would send a better, more expensive r4-upgrade sdhc at no cost. i asked him when it would ship and he said first thing in the morning. it was supposed to take 3-5 days to arrive and it was here only 2 days later. the r4 i got is a wayyyyyy better r4 sdhc than posted on their site, or atleast its a new version. it runs smoothly and i couldnt ask for more. i will definitely be doing busness with CS in the future for all my consoles and i would recommend them to anybody and everybody. but i am curious to see if i will get this 2gb micro sd.."

"Couldn't possibly be a worse company out there!

1st problem: I placed an order for a DSi flashcard on Christmas day... ok, it won't go out today or tomorrow maybe... but on the 27th or 28th right? WRONG! They were "closed" for 1 1/2 weeks and my order didn't ship until Jan 4th.

2nd problem: The card they sent me is DOA. The card never worked, never recognized in the DSi and is nothing more than a paperweight. I contacted their "RMA Despartment" the day I received the package (1-12-11) and still no answer. Not a single word from them!

3rd problem: Links to problem #2... they will sell you something, then go MIA when it is a piece of crap and doesn't work. Customer service is a thing of the past when it comes to online sales I guess.

If you need a DS flashcard, I would look elsewhere. I finally ended up going through ndsgamer.com and that transaction couldn't have gone any smoother. The guy over there actually emailed me back when I wanted to know which card to get so it would work on my 1.4.1u DSi. And no, I don't work for the site... just a consumer who got screwed by consolesource.com. Only reason I game them two stars on the shipping was because they did send the paperweight in a bubble-wrap envelope.

"HORRIBLE company. I can NEVER get anyone on the phone or to respond to support tickets. I ordered my product 4 months ago, took 7 weeks before I got it. Once I got it it was dead, took me 2 more weeks before I was able to get an rma to send it back. Sent it back, never heard anything for weeks, endless calls and emails, until I finally got one of those chat services that said they would ship on the 3rd of this month and send me confirmation. well 3rd came and went and once again back to this loop of not getting a hold of anyone. I call their number (I have tried all the numbers I can find) and it rings non stop until i get a message that the call will be terminated because no one is answering. waiting 1-2 months for anything is sad but 4 months is ridiculous and should never be acceptable from any company. I wish I could find a way to have this company reported for fraud but its not even in the us to do so. Keep your money because you will never see a dime or a product from them.

edit: They are Very right about a couple things. I looked back at all emails, logs, and tickets. I placed on the 21st recieved on the 13th. they are also right, I received 12 emails. 1 of them was a black friday ad, 4 of them came AFTER i wrote this. so that means i got 7 emails in 4 months. also if you would like to know how long I went between me posting a ticket and getting a response? I can give you that length for every ticket. Yes, I still dont want a refund I want a working product, is that so wrong? They are now claiming I have an incompatible wii....my wii is almost 2 years old and according to DRIVEKEY support (thats right consolesource I went to your daddy and talked to them) they cant find any reason why my hardware or software was an issue at the time of return. Their only thought was that the drivekey was defective or outdated in its firmware. Also notice how they even responded saying it was received back on November 17 and the soonest they finally were able to ship one was jan 3rd. I have 2 different emails from THEM claiming it was shipped in december, one of which i received after this post. They even claimed to quote the canada post that it would be at my door the following week. The "following week" equates to the week after they ended up telling me (the day after they responded to this) that it never shipped as their offices were closed on the days they previously claimed to have shipped them. I have copies of all emails and tickets and contradictions made if anyone would like copies please let me know. I will be happy to be as forthcoming with all lies they have told and correct any misrepresentations I may have made. Will they do the same? I will post all emails and tickets/posts either on this site or another 3rd party website for full disclosure and link to it all here within the next couple weeks unless they would like to change their comment to my post so that it no longer claims they are in the right or at least that i am in the wrong.

Be very careful. Not certain of legitimacy of this website.
You won't have anybody to turn to if you pay and don't get your product.
Big hassle with credit card company disputing their charge.
