"I'm always a little skeptical about buying refurb or demo items, but I have to admit this purchase has worked out just fine (I've had it about 3 weeks). The laptop looks essentially new, it was clean, well-packed, and arrived very promptly. I believe the price, including shipping, cost much less what I would have paid for a comparable laptop of the same or other brand elsewhere, even for refurbs & demos. My only (small) complaints are (1) that the laptop battery has very short life, but whether that's due to manufacturer's design or the fact that the laptop was demo'ed and perhaps the battery life was lessened through that I'll never know - but, I think even if I have to purchase a new battery soon I'll still be relatively happy with this purchase - and (2) that the laptop came with no paperwork, but again maybe manufacturer's don't provide anything any more either, and I can find most of what I need on the web. A back-up disk for Vista would be nice, though. [I have not had occasion to contact the merchant for anything, so I cannot rate their customer service.]"

"Not happy. What was advertised on the website was a complete XM kit, yet what I received was less than that. When I attempted to contact the company to ask questions about my order I was far from impressed with the customer service. I ended up having to send it back because they evidently don't want my patronage."

"This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an online seller / merchant. I placed an order for 2 monitors via telephone and my order was cancelled without anyone reaching out to inform me...I simply found out when I called days later to check on order status. After placing a second order, I rush to Fed Ex to find that they sent me 2 different monitors in boxes that were supposed to be "unopened" and "new"...hardly the case. After opening packages sealed carelessly with packing tape, I find that one of the monitors has several dots on it once you power on. When I called to come up with a solution, a sales rep forwards me to a voice mail greeting. Long story short, no customer service representatives to speak with, my 15 phone calls and emails will never be returned, I will have to submit a claim to Fed Ex to even think about getting appropriate replacement, etc, etc. There is a reason that this site has much lower pricing than anyone...stay away!!"
