Both large ticket items I purchased in my order were said they were "New - Open Box". The Scooba was definately used, and dirty. It was also missing the Owner's Manual and the first time I turned it on it said it needed service. I unplugged it and plugged back in and now seems to be charging, but we'll see if it even works when I get home.

The other item is an iPod speaker system, and it might have been new, but definately in used condition. There were scratches on the back, and very sticky substance I have yet to be able to remove all along the top. To boot, it's missing a power cord! Company can't send me a power cord, they want me to return the whole thing and pay for the shipping back... even if the item is missing a vital part!? "

"I am not very happy with the condition of the item I purchased. It was DOA. I ordered an Eton/Grundig S350R AM/FM/SW radio which was advertised as fully functional. When the radio arrived it appeared to be in excellent physical condition, however would not power up using the supplied AC/DC wallwart or with 4 D cell batteries. I am familiar with radios as I am an Amateur Radio Operator (KD4GAW) and was unable to get the radio to function. I am reluctant to return the radio, as I opened it to troubleshoot the problem and do not want to foot the shipping costs to ship this one back and pay for shipping a replacement, which also may not work. My suggestion here would be to make sure the products work as described prior to advertising the item. The quality control on this particular item was obviously unsatisfactory."

Seller has NO way to talk to a live person about any dispute. I may have to eat excessive shipping charges as well as return charges for this item.

The product I received was in poor condition, the screen was scratched, the owners manual was missing, and all the equipment and other papers where either scratched or torn. I tried calling the number on the site and got voice mail. After leaving them a message, I did not get a call back. I sent them two emails and got standard copies of their return policy and thats it. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMERS!"
