"Poor customer service. All automated messages in reply. I had to call the sales dept and they made me leave a message. When they called back about 4 hours later, they transferred me to a customer service dept which ended up only being an answering machine. The service dept never called back. They put a hold on the delivery of my product, it sat in my town at the FedEx depot for three days before bringing it to my door. Poorly run business, no customer service, I will buy nothing else from them."

"The product they sent me is defective. I bought a "vonage" gateway/router. The product is not registered with Vonage; therefore, I can not activate it with Vonage. I called several times to customer services to request an exchange. I always got an answer machine. I left several mesages. After two days they have not called me back. I have no option but to buy the product at another store, return the defective product to Consumer depot, and pay for extra shipping expenses."

"Easy to place the order. Very reasonable delivery fee for 3 day service. Quick shipping and delivery I received my HDTV in Massachusetts in two days. Product was an Open Box Item and was described as showing some use. The description was very accurate, the HDTV worked without any issues, it did show signs of minor use but for the price it was well worth it. For an open box item I would have expected original carton and at least some of the accessories. It came in a plain carton without any accessories. It could have been packed with more padding for protection during shipping, but again it arrived without any damage. Because I did not have a remote to set up the HDTV it took me a few hours to set up and I had to call them manufacturer for help. I ahve purchased from consumer depot in the past, laptop, cameras and other items and all have been as advertised. I will purchase again.

"Ok, I'll be honest here, they were a tad bit slow with shipping out my item, I ordered it the 21st, didnt ship out until 27th. I called they're toll free phone number a bunch of time, and they never anwser. I got on the phone once with some guy, and he seemed in a hurry to transfer me to customer service, which is just a anwsering mechine, didnt even ring once. I got my item in working condition, and i am greatfull i did, because if i didnt work, i probabley would never be able to get in contact with them to even get a RMA #. I have also read that a lot of people have received broken items, and cannot get ahold of people to return it. I dont think i would deal with this company again, unless i absolutly had to, just becuase their customer service is non-existing."

The item I ordered was not the item I received. Their customer service department does not accept phone calls. I've left messages, sent emails and all I get in response is a form letter telling me to get an RMA number, ship the item back to them (at my expense) and they'll refund me for the item, less the shipping. So, I paid $15.00 for them to express ship me the wrong item, now they want me to ship the wrong item back to them and order the item again an pay for shipping again... I DON'T THINK SO!! ...Do not order anything from this company... they are crooks!!"

"Totally frustrated and angry at Consumer Depot. Bought display model laptop and was supposed to recieve it in three days via Fed Ex. Didn't come on time, left on business trip and got home after 14 day return period. Laptop does not WORK at all - nothing. They won't return calls and won't help in any way - I get automated return e-mails saying it's beyond the return period. I do not appreciate being treated this way when they did not adhear to their end of the bargain at a three day delivery time frame. So, I am stuck with a useless laptop. By the way, the laptop does not appear to be a display model either, it is dented all over and looks abused. So much for honesty and integrity."

"I ordered a pair of computer speakers. Nothing on the site indicated that they were used. Received them with no power supply and one of the speakers did not even work once I found a spare power supply. There was also physical damage to the speakers. Very unhappy - would not purchase there again."

"I purchased 3 each Vonage VOIP switches. These were to provide cheap telephone service for myself and my two children. The Vonage switches were advertised as like new in original packaging. WEll, that was a lie. The switches ARE NOT as new. The MAC (Media Access Control) addresses on all three switches had already been used and cannot be used again. This makes the Vonage switches useless JUNK. New switches DO NOT have used MAC addresses. (already assigned to another Vonage Customer)Vonage told me to send them back, but the 14 day time limit had expired and so I am stuck with this junk. Do yourself a BIG favor.. NEVER EVER buy anything from this lieing, thieving company. You will get more satisfaction if you just give your money to a guy on the corner holding a sign that says "I will work for Food". You will get nothing from Consumer Depot / Overstock Dealz except cheated, lied to and robbed. Yes I have reported this company to the BBB and the Federal Trade Comission. "
