"This is one of the worst sites I have ever ordered from. I ordered an item on May 23, it is now June 2. I have not received a confirmation email, tracking number, etc. Calling is a WASTE OF TIME. I have called everyday with no answer. I emailed support and finally heard back from them saying I should get an email shortly and receive my package in 3 business days. I have yet to get an email must less a package. The bad thing is that the shipment is only being sent from Atlanta, Georgia to Jesup,Ga. When you receive a package from Hong Kong, China quicker than from your own country I'd say it is not a good company to order from.I could have drove there to get it faster! If you are looking to get your order within a week then I would recommend ordering from somewhere else! "
"Overall the experience was okay considering I received the product quickly and at a discount price. However, it came with a crack. In fairness it may occurred during the shipment. More importantly I sent 3 emails to customer support about three separate questions/comments and never got a reply. I was even checking my spam folder."

"I ordered a "Lego City Undercover Chase 3Ds" ,for my 7 year old son as a graduation gift on May,17,2013.A whole week passed and my item never arrived. I had to email customers Service to inquire about my item, after couple days they contacted me and processed the order.The item arrived too late on May ,28,2013.
I had to buy the game from a local Target store to please my son who has been waiting so long for the game.Now the game arrived and I'm stuck with it, can not return it since CostCaptin will charge a $20 return fee and I also has to pay the sipping.The item cost was $27.99. This was the first time I order an item from Cost Captain and their service never met expectations."

At first, when I ordered the product, I did not get any invoice in my email address. I made a complaint and the responded quite fast. They even sent a 10% off coupon for the inconvenience.
Later, unfortunately, there was another error (nothing with the amount or product, just something almost trivial). I notified them of it, and they refunded the entire amount.
I think they have done a great job in keeping me happy as a customer. Their customer service was top class!"
"Poor product inventory management. Slow refund process. Advertised savings are not worth the headache -- suggest you find a more reputable dealer.
Just the facts: Order placed on 22 May. Confirmation email received on 23 May, CC charged on same day, 3-5 day shipping selected. On the 27 May I receive a automated notification of delay in processing. Checking website indicates status :"Awaiting item in picking" (??) I contact customer service who tell me the item is backordered and there may be a 3 week delay in receiving it at their warehouse.
At this point I have to cancel the order. Customer service tells me that there is 7-10 day processing time to refund. [Granted often banks have a couple of days hold on refunds but not more than a one or two days.]
If you are prepared to accept this sort of business practice then the advertised savings may be worth it for you.
This company really needs to revamp their inventory management, customer support, and financial management process before I'd recommend ordering from them.
Update (4 June): Keeping with facts - Customer Service from CostCaptain responded to this post within 24 hours, posting the cancellation notice below. I received refund on June 3rd. [5 days vs advertised 7-10.]
[Opinion] I'm happy to see they take cutomer opinion seriously. I suggested, via customer support, if they wanted my business that they notify me when they had the product in stock. We'll see if that occurs. I suspect that the item I ordered is special order only but even so, would it not make sense to include that information on the website? Alot of the negative comments below could be avoided with changing the way CostCaptain manages its inventory.

After placing an order with CostCaptain (for an Xbox 360 wireless adapter) I was sent the following in an email:
"Your recent order requires a quick verification for security reasons.
To continue processing your order we need the following:

• Your driver's license or other form of government issued ID
Please send us these documents via email attaching to your reply or via fax to ***-***-****. You can also take a picture of your documents with your mobile phone and send to us via email.

This kind of request has fraud and identity theft written all over it. Additionally, when I demanded a refund the company waited until the very last possible day to issue it, beyond which I had promised to report them to the authorities. DO NOT buy from CostCaptain. DO NOT trust them with your information. I've read far too many reports by people of being taken for a ride by this seller, only to ultimately be sold a bill of goods or kept waiting indefinitely. Given my experience I fully expect that ANY positive review is someone on CostCaptain's payroll parroting market propaganda to make them look good.
Do yourself a favor: AVOID CostCaptain!"
"Item was received brand new and pristine as expected. When product didn't arrive by delivery date contacted the company and promptly learned it was due to product not being in the inventory. I communicated the urgency for the product and so a new due date was established. Product arrived prior to the newly established delivery date."
