"I would not recommend Cost Captain to my worst enemy. I ordered a product for my son's birthday and received the confirmation email. Then I heard NOTHING from them. I ordered this product WELL in advance of my son's birthday. I tried emailing them and no response. I spent most of the day on the phone trying to talk to a person but all I got was being put on hold then I got their voice mail. I left messages and no one responded. I finally cancelled my order because their lack of customer service cannot be tolerated. They are a rip off and no matter how low the cost of a product they are selling on their web site, they won't have it in stock. I've read on other posts about them, they have done this before and have numerous complains with the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT order from CostCaptain.com."

"Received my order and everything was just as it should be! Love the Blackout Buddy's. I think they are going to be valuable every time the electricity goes out. You can use them as flashlights or nite lights too! I also like the slim design of the casing, and that you can plug them in up right or upside down and they don't block both outlets. The price was phenomenal; basically you get two for the price of one with Cost Captain. I've already ordered more!"

"I placed an order for a laptop case for my mother for mother's day. Laptop case. No big deal right? I placed the order on Friday 5/3 in the am. Got my confirmation e-mail and oder number the same day. They're based in Atlanta and i only live in South Carolina. I thought all was well. Monday I get an email saying my order had been shipped. Followed by an email saying the order was delayed and that if I chose to cancel my refund would go in immediately. I thought I'd wait it out and give them time. A week should be sufficient time right? Thursday 5/9 evening I check my order status. Pending.... I cancel my order. I get a cancellation confirmation saying I have to wait 5 to 10 days to get my refund. Here it is Monday evening 5/13 and my refund has yet to show on my card. Yet the money is shown as being taken from my account. Not only is this poor shoddy customer service. It's breach of contract."

"I have to agree with many of the NEGATIVE reviews here.
Placed an order on 5/3 that has not shipped yet.
No reply to online/e-mail inquiry nor voice mails.
For a company to have an e-mail designated to 'zendesk' is totally inappropriate as there is no balance or comfort here as my order (of one item) sits stagnant for 10 days. If they indicated 3-4 weeks turn time to fulfill an order I would have placed my order elsewhere. Now I am stuck needing my item and the zendesk has stressed me out.
I do not want to cancel order and am simply astonished as to the lack of service in just trying to get a reply or live body to speak with from this online retailer.

"Took 6 days before I could get an order confirmation. The order confirmation was misleading, but did finally allow me piece of mind. The product itself performs well.

My order got slipped through the cracks, and I didn't receive a confirmation email. After waiting a business day for a confirmation email, I emailed the support address. The next day it was added to the support system. It took 3 days for someone who wasn't specified to be assigned to my ticket to send me my "order confirmation".

The email I was sent said that my order was pending and that I would have to submit more paperwork to confirm that I did mean to have such a large purchase. Thankfully, I could get to my tracking information with the information in that email and finally verify that my order was indeed shipping.

"Bought a AC Adapter for a Lenovo Yoga 13 that was $28 from CostCaptain and $50 everywhere else. Adapter I received was identical to the one provided by Lenovo for my Yoga. Ordered 4/27 and received 5/8. Very happy with service and price. "
