"I placed and PAID for an order on 4/30/13 totaling $1,194.80 for (10)televisions. After many phone calls and emails, I have only receieved (3) televisions. I thought I would post my recent request here as it appears CostCaptain replies on periodic posts. I have not heard anything back for two weeks now. I have already been told two different times that the units have been shipped, and yet I am still waiting. The website also no longer recognizes by order #. Here's hoping for a reply/resolution from CostCaptain:

"It took a full 14 days for an order consisting of a single cable to arrive from CostCaptain. It shipped a day after they replied to my inquiry about the order, telling me that it had already been shipped. Over the next week the order's status was never updated on their website and I had to ask them again about it. "first let me start by saying that I have never written a review before - I'm pretty easy to please and I'm very understanding - hopefully that will add some emphasis to this low rating I am giving for the inadeqate service received. I placed my order at which time my credit card was charged and I received an email thanking me for my order. After 10 days I called to follow up on the status of the order as the status when checking online said "pending review" - so I called the company to inquire only to get put into a voicemail box after being on hold some time. I left a message and got no reply. The next day I called again and left another message. At the end of the day I went online and sent a request that someone call me about my order or I would be cancelling the order as I needed the item for my job and I couldn't wait any longer. I never got a call back but instead got a message noting that my order was pending due to a mismatch between the billing address and the shipping address...seriously? How often do you order somethign online and have it sent to a friend or maybe to your place of work so you can be sure a package isn't being left on your front step to be stolen? They further explained to recify the situation they wanted me to send them a copy of my drivers license and credit card front & back....seriously again? So I told them they were out of their mind and to cancel my order. They never called me. I then got an email the next day saying my order was cancelled and they would refund me via CHECK to the billing address on my account. Now I was in the process of moving, hence the reason for a different shipping address because we were about to move when I placed the order. Now these fools have offered to mail me a check to the place I no longer live at - wow thanks...and in the meantime I get to pay my credit card bill. I'm fairly certain that the people who have given a rating of 5 on here either work for the company or were paid to write ther review and the one's with a rating of 1 are legitimate reviews....I have never been so disappointed with an online vendor ever! I'm questioning if this is fraud and they are doing funny things with money charging people's accounts the day the order is placed then not having a check clear for 30 days in most cases. Or perhaps they do a terrible job of maintaining inventory levels and this was a lame excuse to delay the shipment for an out of stock item. Most sellers are required to credit the refund to the credit card account charged and cannot issue you a refund in another manner - does this make any sense to you? Do yourself a favor and do not use CostCaptain.com they are terrible. I wish I could give a zero star rating. "
