"Absolutely horrible customer service! It has been 3 days short of an entire month waiting on my HP touchpad and I cant get anything out of them besides generic emails about how they have no idea when they will ship. What a worthless and terrible company! The wont so much as let me know what order numbers theyve completed so far! It is clearly obvious that they have no idea what their doing and are not capable to handle any large quanitity orders. It was supposed to arrive in 3 days or less, and Im in the same state their based out of! Now its practically a month, Even if your desparate for something you cant find elsewhere NEVER deal with this horrible company!

Update: Wow It even took them a month to respond to my review here. Not that it matters much because Im completely sick of their generic responses and emails. It has literally been 2 MONTHS now and still no touchpad! There is not a single other vendor that has yet to ship all their available touchpads. And Costcentrals emails regarding how its HP's fault because they made Costcentral keep their inventory in HP warehouses and then has only been releasing intervals less and less each time to Costcentral is complete and utter bullsh*t! I spoke to several HP representatives and when I finally spoke to 2 of them firmiliar with this crappy company they clearly stated that this is not the case and that it is made up by Costcentrals PR team. And even if it is true, why wait 2 months before releasing generic info that would have been known since the beginning. Either this company is a scam trying to steal peoples money or just has the most pathetic excuse for organization, customer service, and processing or orders.

"Ordered 1 HP touchpad. Despite being out of stock everywhere CostCentral persevered and managed to find stock to slowly fill orders, instead of just cancelling like some other companies. A+, they have made my list of retailers to buy from regularly."

"Kudos to Cost Central for doing what other much larger companies failed to do or couldn't be bothered to do. Shipped out an HP Touchpad at $99. I'm one of thousands who had their orders fulfilled whereas other companies just cancelled orders on mass. Well done to them and now I've seen how you take care of customers please be ready for more of my business! Thanks."

"First, let me state I was an HP TouchPad customer during the great fire sale. Cost Central could have done a better job communicating more regularly with customers affected by slow order processing. However, I feel they did everything they possibly could to fulfill my order as quickly as possible and with a positive customer service attitude. I placed a subsequent order with them that was fast and seamless. I say, good job Cost Central!"

"Watch out these people LIE on the telephone. I went to order a Mac mini computer and the online inventory showed 25 in stock. I called the order desk and placed the order. I was told by the sales rep that they were in stock. Two days later they say they can no longer get them. I will NEVER do business with these liars!"

"When they were selling the TouchPad, they claim on their website "2 Per Customer". So I ordered 2 for a coming trip as gifts. My wife ordered 1 for her friend.
They were extremely slow so we have to change the delivery address because we will not be able to wait for the delivery.

When the customer service saw the 2 address with the same address, they CANCELLED both order because IN THEIR MIND they really mean "2 Per Household" and we have violated/broken their UNSPOKEN rules!

Also don't expect and privacy with their customer service because they will share your communication with any customer they see fit! In this case he past my response with him to my wife and wanted to cause a fight first when he will cancel both order anyway.

10/20/2011 - Update

When I was told I could only kept one order and my wife and I had to agree which one to keep, I called the company on the phone. The guy answered the phone forwarded me to a lady from the company administration team because I did not want to talk to the guy handling the customer service. I was told by her clearly BOTH of my orders will be cancelled! Her word was "This is our company policy and I am not going to discuss it here!".
That's when I wrote the review. 2 days later, I got an email from the customer service saying one of the order was cancelled and the other one was pending process.

So apparently people in this company doesn't communicate and I was called " untruthful" here.

"I sent in a cancellation request for my order as they didn't have the item in stock and didn't know when it would be shipped out. I found another store selling the same item and acquired it there.

Conveniently enough they shipped out my order two days after I requested they cancel it. Upon inquiring how I can go about returning the items since I originally requested the order be cancelled they told me they had no record of me requesting the cancellation and wouldn't take the order back and issue a refund since the item has been discontinued.

Of course, they apologized for the inconvenience for ultimately being unable (or downright refusing?) to cancel my order and also for not taking the item back and refunding the purchase price.

They seem to be both incompetent in their ability to keep track of customer inquires and have extremely questionable customer service standards. I won't be giving them any of my business again.

"We called prior to placing the order to confirm that the ink would not be past its expiration date, and were told that the factory checks that prior to shipment. unfortunately, when we received the package, the ink had expired some nine months ago on one of the packages (two ordered), and the other is set to expier in two months. We called Cost Central and they upheld their word and provided us with a shipping label to return the expired ink, which we were pleased with. We are still a bit upset with the close proximity of the expiration date on the other ink. We appreciate Cost Central's attempts to make good on the expired ink. We have not yet received the new package, and certainly hope it will be within its expiration date..."

"The whole story is this: I read about 100 reviews of various printers that meet my needs and settled on the HP Envy Printer/scanner/copier. I went through the entire ordering process with another company, and it was a totally unpleasant experience. No live customer service, reason for the mess-up was "we somehow lost your order", and in the end I never received the printer from them.

I did an online search for other higher-rated companies, and found you. I ordered the printer, payment cleared quickly, and EVEN BETTER, the printer arrived within 4 days of ordering it!

On a scale of 1-10, my experience with you was a HIGH 10! Plus, the printer is EXACTLY what I needed, and it works great.

"On 3rd of Sep I have ordered through Google Check-Out a battery from CostCentral. Immediately after that I received an email from both Google Check-Out and CostCentral to confirm that the order was received and on my card the money blocked. No sign from CostCentral until today 6 (six!) days later with an email announcing me that my order was cancelled. No reason, no other details just "Please contact us at 1-***-***-**** or ****@**** for details." So, they rejected my will to spent $150 with CC and I should come back to find why. Cute!
Also, my money blocked on my card for almost one week for nothing, as I'm writing the money still blocked, can't use my card to buy from another seller who really means business.
Won't use CostCentral ever again nor recommend it to somebody else.
