"I wanted a little better sound experience in my class c motorhome cab, but didn’t want to spend a ton. I got a very nice double din touch screen stereo and upgraded speakers. The amazing thing to me was the detailed instructions on how to dissembled the dash, which included dropping the whole steering column. Following crutchfield directions it practically fell apart. No hunting around for that last fastener. No trial and error. Allowed me to avoid installation cost and spend more on the my new hardware. Highly recommend!"

"My old 99 Suburban was stuck in the cassette player, no aux/Bluetooth past. Purchased an inexpensive Boss system with the wiring prepared by Crutchfield. The install process took all of 20 minutes, primarily trimming plastic using an oscillating tool. I’m in the 21st century now and it looks/sounds great."

On a 2007 Crown Victoria, you have to make sure the wire harness gets tucked back into it's cubby on the rear left or the deck WILL NOT slide far enough in to 'clip' in place (excellent addition idea to instructions) but no complaints. "When I received my truck's replacement stereo equipment from Crutchfield, I was surprised that none of the components were pre-wired (I had ordered a head unit and amp combination). I communicated this via email and they apologized for the misunderstanding and assured me that they would be available to answer any questions that I might have during the setup and installation. I tested them on that promise too...this being my first time ever installing any type of equipment into a vehicle (let alone the one that I depend on since it's my daily use/commute). I contacted them a total of 3 times during my install with questions and on one of those times, I had 11 questions on the wiring. Every question was answered and each time, the technician was patient and fully explained the how or why and I never got the sense that they were annoyed in any way. In fact, my confidence in achieving a successful install increased each time I spoke to them. All of my install "education" was primarily from watching the videos and reading the articles on Crutchfield's site. The technicians were essential in answering the vehicle specific questions I had. "Jill answered my call for help with in depth knowledge and patience. I wanted a new in dash unit for my 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 crew cab but had several requirements. Trying to sort through the options online was not working out so well. She listened to my wants and my needs and helped to narrow down the available choices that did everything I requested. The Sony second choice Jill recommend, Budget kept me from getting that supported apple play, but that was a want, not a need. The Pioneer Jill recommended as the first choice is ultimately where I found was my best option. She went through several other options with me, but the Pioneer just worked out to be the best fit. We covered what was needed to keep my steering wheel controls working and installation. Talked and researched on several of the models about Bluetooth control for track selection that was a requirement for me. The descriptions were not super helpful so she had to dig deep to find the answers. Glad Crutchfield has knowledgeable and patient advisors like Jill to help those of us that sort of know what we want to hone in on the best selection. Installed the unit this morning and it sounds much better than the Bose system factory head unit it replaced. Installation gear made the change out quick and simple. All the colors on my harness from the radio and install kit matched up one for one. Looking forward to our next unit once we trade our older vehicle. "
"Order and delivery were simple. Came with all necessary installation accessories. You will need an extension cable for the camera but that's a manufacturer flaw, not a distributor. Did not use the tech support but from past experience I know they are knowledgeable and helpful."
