"Update: issues were resolved below and a full refund was given after a social media representative saw my posts and helped fix the mistake by customer service.
I ordered a rug from Cymax with an estimated delivery window of July 5-11. By July 11 I had not received tracking so i contacted them. They informed me the rug was back ordered and I could either wait or cancel and receive a full refund. I requested a full refund and ended up ordering the rug from elsewhere. The same night I receive a shipping notification from cymax that the rug had shipped... I contacted them and confirmed that they were going to refund me as promised. Nope! They said they were sorry because it had shipped they could no longer cancel or refund my order. Now I'm stuck lugging an enormous rug to Fedex/ USPS and paying hundreds of dollars if I want a return. There is no number to call for customer service and they're unresponsive to emails so I called their number for placing an order. Tod hung up on me and then sent my following calls directly to voicemail. I've never experienced such unprofessional and disorganized customer service. This company totally scammed me."

Would be 5 stars except: Not all of the products shown on-line have the same set of specs, which forced a CSR call to figure out whether different products would fit; and, one phone CSR seemed bored and indifferent; the second one was positive, friendly and helpful; and, one of the four shipping packages was pretty wrecked inside and a real mess. The cheap styrofoam packing had disintegrated resulting in the contents shifting around resulting in minor scuffing and a mess to clean up. Cymax should follow the lead of companies like Dyson and ditch the el cheapo and environmentally bad plastic styrofoam for molded paper/cardboard, which holds its shape and can be recycled."

That should be one of the first requirements of anyone wanting to do business here. If you order from them online, they will not allow you to speak to anyone. Again, how is that possible. They should never have an A from the BBB. Would never purchase from them again.
My order did not ship on time, so I was concerned. I just wanted to know what was going on. Then I saw that only the desk had shipped but I was charged for the entire order. I just had questions. The day that my entire order arrived, Cymax was “still checking with the manufacturer regarding my order.” "
