"My fireplace mantle arrived damaged during manufacturing and one side of the faux granite was too short. I notified Cymax via text and was given a file number. Nothing happened. Two more inquiries, 2 other file numbers, and finally the 3rd file number asked for part # s of the damaged items. Then nothing happened. Finally, I received an email with a new file number asking for photos, which I sent. Then Cymax said I could receive a 25% refund if I just kept the items. I declined. A few days later an email arrived asking for a return of the damaged items in the original packaging, which I no longer had, but which had arrived without any evidence of damage to the packaging at all, and I stated that in my early inquiry. The next week an email arrived saying I would be receiving replacement parts, and the damaged items did not have to be replaced. Sure enough, a few days later another perfect package arrived with a beautiful new mantle, and perfectly fitting faux granite front. It took 6 weeks in all, but once someone at Cymax locked onto my problem, it was quickly and beautifully resolved."

"I've purchased a sofa which came completely defective. Filled a return request and after they requested photos of the defects - sent them out immediately. This small step took week for them. Then they just ghosted me and after 5 followups from my side I called but was told to use email, they won't help you over the phone. After saying that that they do not answer to my emails - they just said they can't help and I should complaint my email issue by email. That's epic.
I ended up filling a fraud case with my bank as they didn't get back within month. After I filled that – I've got an email sayin "we sent you an email on 26th of december, but never heard back, please respond" and that was sent from no-reply address. And the email is a lie cause they never sent me anything.
To someone looking to buy something from them please do your research before. This store is a pure SCAM and it's very hard to get your money back or even simply return the item. If the bank won't help me – I am gonna go to the court after that."
"This company is horrible! They offer free shipping because they have no idea when your items will ship, I placed an order on Dec 23rd and shipping was estimated to ship between Dec 24th-26th. They charged me immediately then emailed me on the 27th advising items still haven't shipped and they would let me know when they do. They refunded my card and in the mean time found the same exact products on a different site that was cheaper and my items have already arrived or on their way after I cancelled my order with Cymax. In the meantime, they charged my card AGAIN then emailed saying my order had been cancelled and expect a refund within 7-10 days. Will never shop this site again! Horrible service and deceiving shipment details are provided. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!"

We show that you placed the order on Sunday, December 23rd. At the time of purchase our estimates account for business days , and both December 24th and 25th are not considered business days within our system as they are considered holidays. The shipping information you had originally provided to us was of a different name and location than what was registered on the credit card you used for the purchase. We flagged this to our fraud prevention department for verification. On December 29th, we received a cancellation request directly requested by you through your "My Account". At that time we followed through with your request and completed the cancellation and the refund to your original method of payment by January 3rd. After reviewing the history of the payments, there is no duplicate charge or transaction for this purchase, our banking records also support this.
While we truly do apologize for any delays , we show that a full refund was submitted and completed as per your cancellation request.

"I was a little confused on when to work with Bush - the maker of the furniture we ordered - and when to work with Cymax - who gladly took our order. Because of tight turn around for our move we were anxious about shipping delays, and I was assured by Cymax that my rep would see things through. I had one contact with Cymax (which I initiated) then was handed off to an expediter at Bush. This ended up being a good thing because Bush was on top of the order - even when one of the pallets went missing for a brief time. Autumn at Bush was excellent to work with as she ensured the shipment came together and got delivered. Cymax took the order efficiently - and handed us off.
As far as produce goes - the furniture is high quality. It is very heavy and sturdy, and the Storm Gray office sent is great looking. Assembly was straight forward, and the Mobile File Cabinets came preassembled. One thing I will mention is the double drawer cabinets are very deep - to match the depth of the desks, however, the drawers aren't deep at all. There's about 6-7" of waisted space behind the drawer. We found that odd. But all in all, we're pleased, and our kudos go to Bush. "

“Hi Nikita,
You made a purchase for a "Hemsley Sofa in a Box" on December 2nd, 2018. We show that the item was delivered without issue on December 7th.
On December 10th you had filed a return request stating that the item was defective to which we had responded requesting some photos of the defects.
You provided several photos and stated that the cushions were not filled to your expectations which we then advised we would review with the manufacturer to decide on the disposition of the item in your possession. The manufacturer advised that they did not see any discrepancies from the photos you provided to the overall make of the cushions at the factory.
While we do apologize for the delays in responses, we offered you a 30% refund based on the photos you provided , since the item was assembled and the original packaging was discarded. We then received a response from you declining this offer.
We then provided a solution for you to donate the item to the charity of your choice and provided some options to help you along since it was deemed that there were no circumstantial flaws with the item and provide us with a donation receipt for a full refund. Most charities provide a free pick up service.
After we were provided a dated donation receipt on March 8th, you also provided us with a U haul receipt and requested we reimburse you for the rental of a Uhaul truck. Unfortunately we, at no point, authorized, or suggested that action and had advised you that we would not be able to reimburse you. However since we had received the donation receipt we had refunded you for the original purchase of the item at that time.
While we truly apologize for any inconveniences , we consider this a closed issue.
