"DON'T ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!Very disappointed. The Pricewatch ad for my Radeon 8500 64MB card specifically stated DVD video playback, but I have subsequently found out that the software necessary for this is only provided by ATI to retail purchasers, and this was OEM. I feel this is very misleading on the part of DV Century. It also took them a week to get my order to UPS, so I got the card 10 days after I ordered it. The other orders I placed that day took ontl 2-3 days to arrive. The tracking information stunk, it was never updated until the day it was delivered, so I wasn't even sure it had been shipped. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from THEM again! - UPDATE- I emailed them about this issue, have not heard back from them."
"another useless company I ordered a gGforce video card on 6/24/02 got an email conformation and order number and a nice msg saying the would process my order in 48~72 hours..Tried to track order today no luck emailed company to see what status was on order ..was told their website was down at that time and advised me to reorder.. lost four days to their incompitance.

Update..lust recieved a email from Dv Century along with a virus email. may be a coincidence (I think not) but be very wary of these people ..why would they email me a week after I cancled my order and they emailed me five times the day I did.. Am trying to track Klez source..Norton stoped it ..Nice try"
"I tried ordering some suppllies for my company here in Hawaii, and was very upset with the situation. DV Century tried to charge me double for the shipping and not tell me about it. When I confronted them they said they tried to contact me, but recieved no email nor phone call from them. This company is very unprofessional; while having one of the best prices around, purchasing from them should be reconcidered."
"I am perfectly happy with my purchase from DV Century. I purchased 2 Video cards, name brand, at a far less price than any other sites that I found on the net. I had one draw back to my order that I think DVC should work on, I am a primary purchaser for the US Postal Service in my area and the only delivery option I had was to be delivered to me via UPS (the brown truck). As for my purchase/support via DVC's telephone number listed on their website, I listened to the phone ring just one time and a friendly sales woman was on the line. My order took me a total time of about 3 minutes. I was promised a 6 day delivery and the package showed up (via the lil brown truck Uggg!) in exactly 6 days. thanks DVC for the promt, professional service. Try the United States Postal Service, its cheeper, better, and yes we track too ;)"
"Ordered a $25 Slot A GVC Motherboard, clearly marked as "in stock" at time of ordering. I received an email complaining about my credit card (authorization stuff). I got this straightened out by faxing in an authorization form.
My main complaint is that after I placed an order on an item marked *IN STOCK* I received an email (with no subject, from name "info" - not the best way to address email to customers) notifying me that the item was out of stock and on backorder, with no eta for a shipment to arrive. Upon contacting DVCentury I was told that the manufacturer had no more of these boards, and they would not be getting any more, and they were not willing to ship out an alternate product.
When a customer places an order for an item marked IN STOCK on the website, that item must be reserved for that customer. If you do inventory reporting, that is the way things must work."
"I got exactly the products I ordered, no problems. Shipping was UPS ground, recieved the items within 7 days. Only took about 12 hours to process the order.
Only thing that I wish they would have done, is email a confirmation of the order. Other than that, they are overall a good company for me so far."
"This company doesn't answer phone calls. They seldomly answer emails (after many many were sent). They don't ship the products they sell you and they don't accept them as returns.
I've bought a lot of hardware from different online stores and never had a problem like this in several years. I'd stay as far away from this company as humanly possible if you're considering to buy from them.
I am extremely displeased at the service, somewhat displeased with the hardware, and very displeased with the return policy."
"Would not ship to address differing from billing address, so cancelled order in writing via email. Several days later, they billed my credit card and shipped anyway. Am currently disputing charges with Visa.

Updated 5/8/02 - Apparently, Visa agreed with me that the service was attrocious and refunded me the whole amount. Funny thing was that DV/Rich Pacific had refunded me the purchase amount minus shipping in both directions (~$30 for GROUND - Yet another scam). Again, do not use these monkeys. They are non-responsive ripoff merchants."
