"I ordered 3 Vtech i5808 handsets to add to my phone system. When I received the order, it was obvious the packages had been opened and repackaged. There was a fair amount of tape around the boxes, one of them to excess. The phones appeared in relatively good condition, only one had a minor mar on the screen whick of course would not affect the operation. However, after charging the batteries, none of the sets worked. I found the problem to be the batteries were dead and would not accept a charge. I replaced the batteries from one of my existing units and found all 3 handsets to work fine. Upon further examination I noticed that none of the settings in any of the phones had been reset. All were complete with phone book entries, call log, handset name, etc. I would think at the minimum that a refurbished item would be reset to factory defaults with no leftover data from previous ownership. I would also think that refurbished would mean they were tested to be in good working order with working rechargeable batteries. I contacted Dakmart asap and was assured they would send me 3 new batteries. Although the price was good on these units, the shipping charge was exhorbitant. I would think twice before doing business with this company again."

I sent a follow-on email to ask how to determine in-stock; "will ship" items from the out-of-stock; "Order cancelled" after you ask items. Still no reply. Order is still listed as "Processing".

As of today . . . the same AV-R1709 has a "Buy Now" button, it can be placed in the shopping cart for purchase and it is listed as a "Best Seller".

So where is my receiver DAKMART????? Or are you just trolling the internet for credit card numbers?"

"Ordered a Denon ASD-3n Network iPod adapter. Unit was shipped USPS and arrived within a few days.
Regretably, the dock failed after about 1 hour of operation. No fault of Dakmart's. Into Denon's warranty repair system now. Fortunately I bought from a Denon authorized retailer."
