"I heard about the website many years ago and was told everything was shipped right to your door free -no catch. I was very excited about this so when I got home, I explored the site for hours on end and added several neat but useless gadgets to the cart. Checked out and came about a month later. Amazed that everything went so smoothly, I became addicted and have become a long term loyal customer. Until recently, every order I placed since about a year ago, not a single shopping experience went well. I would always receive at LEAST one wrong item in my purchases (usually 5+ items) and this drove me to absolute frustration as I patiently wait about a month or more every time. Either the sku to the item that i ordered is correct but is placed on the incorrect item or the sku corresponds to the correct item but is placed on something entirely different. Sometimes the item arrives defective (electronically defective not damaged in transit) and sometimes the item I ordered does not match the written AND pictured description. Other times I get lengthy delays because they inform me that they are out of stock and need to restock. Their customer service is very unprofessional. they speak to me using slang terminology such as "u", "r", wanna". Most of the time they apologize and on one occasion they answered my complaint about sending the wrong item with a link to fill out. Every time i asked a question, there I was slapped with that link to fill out. For the refund process, you must take pictures of the item with the sku, the envelope and order sticker attached to envelope. It must be clear pictures and sized correctly to upload. The whole process is not worth the refund for a couple dollars but it's the principal that if they make a mistake, then fix the system so that they are more on top of things. Don't advertise that something is in stock when it isn't and then notifying the customer a week after they paid. Train your restocking team so they don't consistently tag items incorrectly. And most of all, Fire all your support staff who trouble shoots customers' complaints who speak like 13 year old children. Overall, DX.com is a great site to buy low quality goods but at a forgiving price. However it severely lacks organization, professionalism, consistency and customer service. I would definitely recommend this site to a friend but will not hesitate to warn them."
"I love dealextreme, dealextreme sells really great items cheap, most of the time it is so cheap that it is like 5 times less then in my country. i love how i can buy with a click.
support is great also, i had a problem one time with a defective product, i sent an email to dealextreme, they refunded me with the full price and told me that i can keep the item for myself.
