"It's a little frustrating that the Order Status page is not up to date. It say "Processing: Your order is now with our billing department for further processing and verification. Please check back within 24-48 hours for your updated order status." When I called in yesterday they said my order had already been shipped."

"After reading some of the reviews, apparently I'm not the only one to have problems with shipping and a tracking number. When I placed my order on 7/10/13 I was told they had the merchandize instock. I received a confirmation e-mail that same day regarding my purchase of two Afina medicine cabinets totalling $720. There was no mention of a shipping date or tracking number. I waited about 5 to 6 business days and called and asked Joe in customer service from whom I had placed my order and he stated he would get me a shipping number. I checked my email that day and the next but no shipping number. I again called customer service and spoke with somebody called Mike who told me the product had to be shipped from a warehouse closer to me in TX and they currently didn't have a tracking number, but I should have one by tomorrow. Needless to say I didn't get one. I called again the following day. Joe answered the phone and asked me to please hold. I was on hold for 9 minutes and then somebody called Zach answered the phone calling me by my name, so obviously Joe didn't want to deal with me. Zach said he didn't have a tracking number for my order, but it had been shipped on Monday 7/22/13. I asked where it was shipped from and he told me NJ. I said that's strange I was told the reason for the tracking delay was because they had to send it from a warehouse closer to TX and I didn't think NJ was closer to TX. He claimed he didn't know anything about those guys all he did was ship for them. He then gave me his direct line and extention to contact him directly. The number he gave me was the same number as on the internet for Decor Island. I've called hime twice since then and had to leave voice mails and have received no call back. The other issue I have is my credit card cmpany was charged on 7/10/13 the day I placed my order. Most merchants do not charge your card until the item is shipped. If I do not recive my order by today 7/29/13, I was told 4-6 business days, I will have no other recourse but to request a refund via my credit card company"
"I placed an order for an all chrome faucet trim kit and I was shipped an antique white trim kit. I never received an email for order confirmation. When I reached out to see if I can return the unit, they said they would charge me a %25 restocking fee even though it was their error. They also said they would issue me an RMA number so that I can return it. Every week since then I have asked for this number and they still do not have it. We are going into the week of July 22nd. I also received a request to send a picture of the unit. There was no reasoning why or what this had to do with my return."

"We bought a high end bathroom sink from them. The granite installer says that the middle of 1 wall of the sink is bowed inwards by 5/16 inch. Have been trying to contact Decor Island for the past 4 days. Their phone go to voice mail during business hours. There is no response to emails. They were much moe accessible and responsive in 2011 when I purchased a high end faucet from them. Have had no luck ascertaining if they are still in business."
"Right now I am very frustrated with the company. I have tried calling several times, but am always assured that they are closed and I should call back during business hours. I am calling well in the middle of a weekday and they say they will be open then. I am to reply not to the email they sent, but to one of several possibilities for customer support. None of those have gone through because they don't know me or whatever. All I want to know is the predicted delivery date."
"I will not be doing business with this company again. My first order, which was supposed to be shipped within 2-3 days, was finally shipped more than a month after I ordered it. The second item I ordered, though it listed dimensions that should have fit my sink, was about an inch larger than advertised and thus did not fit. Now I am attempting to return both items, and despite my attempts to call several times during their business hours, I am greeted with a recording telling me their offices are closed. Unlike other online merchants, this one offers no way to return merchandise. Because it was drop-shipped, I am afraid that if I return the merchandise to the shipper, I will not receive a proper refund. And Decor Island so far has offered no help. I also have sent emails to their support address and received no reply."

"Will never order from this company again! After not receiving the order placed on 2/12/13 order #DI52367, on 2/27/13, I called Decor Island, they advised me at that time the item showed to be there but when they went to pull it from the stock it was not and will be back ordered for 2 to 3 weeks. Agreed to wait, then on 3/18/13 called Decor Island again at 9:10am they said the item had been shipped and to call customer service after 10:30am to get a tracking number. Called customer service at 2:13pm on same day 3/18/13, they advised me that the item had not been shipped and it would be on back order another 2 to 3 weeks, no explanation on why I was told it had been shipped earlier in the day. I stated at that time I wanted to cancel my order and to refund my credit card the amount of $65.09, I asked for a confirmation number or something to let me know that this transaction was going to take place and he said they would send an e-mail, which to me was very surprising since the only correspondence I have received so far from Decor Island is the original confirmation e-mail. I order online frequently and have never experienced a situation like this where the company didn't correspond with you especially when there is a problem with the stock or order. I am also copying this survey to Sears since it was their website that referred me to your company along with making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I checked my e-mail yesterday 3/18/13 several times along with my credit card company and a refund has not been issued as of yet, as well as checking both again this morning and no refund yet. If a refund hasn't been issued by noon today 3/19/13, I will dispute the charges on my credit card with my credit card company."
"We ordered 4 santec Monza series taps from Joe on February 12. The price was excellent and he said he could have them delivered direct to us in Victoria, Canada. They arrived on March 11. We are delighted with decor island"
