"I regret doing business with this company. My order was 8/30/12 and they delivered the wrong item. They them tried to get me to pay to send that item back and only sent a prepaid UPS label after I complained. They billed my credit card on 8/30/12. I returned the incorrect item and they recieved it at their wharehouse on 9/13/12. They still have not sent the correct item, nor have they responded to any e-mails or telephone calls. They have demonstarted a comlete lack of customer service. I wish I had checked with the BBB as they have numerous open complaints registered against them. I am now waiting for my Credit Card company to refund me the original purchase price."
"I contacted Decor Island around 3:00pm CST on Wednesday 9/12 wanting to purchase a sink that I had found on their website. We had ordered one from another vendor but it was delivered broken and we were in a bind. Joe was the representative that I was speaking with. I know for a fact that the particular sink I was looking for was on back order at most of our local vendors and many of the on-line vendors. Joe told me that his computer showed two in stock but asked me to hold for a minute while he confirmed. He promptly got back to me and confirmed he had two available and can ship one out to me with free standard shipping which would take about 5-7 business days. I went ahead and ordered and received a confirmation via email shortly after.
Fifteen minutes later I was told by my designer that the client needed the sink much sooner than that. I called Joe back and explained my situation. He kindly asked me to hold while he checked alternative shipping options. He came back with 3 options and I chose next day delivery. It was expensive but a cost we had to incur to keep the job moving along. I asked Joe if it could be shipped out that day so we could receive it on Thursday. He said he would try but usually orders for same day shipping have to be placed by 12:00PM EST. Keep in mind this was about 4:00PM EST.
Much to my surprise the sink arrived at my showroom at 9:30am via UPS on Thursday morning. My thanks to Joe for making this happen. It allowed us to continue on with our project with minimal delay."

"I am an attorney in Hawaii and was skeptical about ordering given some of the negative reviews. however, i must say that the $1000 sink i ordered came on time and was exactly what was promised. the only issue i had being in hawaii is that she shipping is calculated after you place the order online. joe called me the day after i ordered to give me the shipping quote and asked me if i still wanted to place the order. the shipping was reasonable so it all worked out. definitely going to order again"
"I ordered on 05 Aug and invoice was dated 9 August so it took a few days to process. I then received an email telling me I had to call them to confirm the $130 order because of a "billing issue" even though the bank indicated a charge had been made and it had processed. The item shipped 20 August and when it arrived it was not the item ordered. I called customer service and after 17 minutes on hold hung up and tried to contact them through email to get return information. If no response within 24 hours payment will be cancelled and the item returned to them postage due. (Funny - they answered on the second ring when I placed he order and on the third ring when I confirmed it.) Update 8/31 - after more emails and more phone call holds each day, still no response. This is looking more like a bait-n-switch. They advertise one item at a given price, send another, and then disappear. Avoid this company.

"I purchased a towel rod from Decor Island on 4/17/12. This rod is specifically designed to attach to a particular sink, and although I have the sink, I am unable to use the rod. Since bathroom renovation takes some time, I was not aware that it could not be attached within their 21 day return period. Customer service at Decor Island refuses to accept a return on May 22. I explained that I would be happy with merchandise credit, but that too was refused. I was advised to try and resell the item on EBAY. So, I am now stuck with a $250 item that I can't use! I have never encountered a company, online or otherwise, that was so unbending and with such a "screw the customer" policy. Needless to say, I will NEVER order anything from this vendor, and will post my experience at every opportunity. "
