"I was in the middle of a stressful kitchen renovation and had an inspection scheduled. I didn't
realize that I needed a plumber to hook up gas lines to my appliances when I called them about
ordering a wall oven. Designer Appliances explained the model choices and also confirmed who
I needed to hire to install and pass the inspection. I don't know that I would have gotten the
same service or level of expertise any other place. On top of that, delivery was within the
timeframe they told me and the delivery team was very nice.

"I really must share this, I am so happy to have found the exact Franke faucet I wanted! I called Designer Appliances on a whim, as I'd just discovered them, and quickly was talking with their Franke Specialist, Ed. He was very patient, going through the specifications and especially describing the finishes. (I am picky about matching the appliances I have).

I ordered a faucet, but when it came it was not exactly perfect, and I wasn't crazy about it. So I called them, and Ed called me back. This time he nailed down exactly what I needed to order. "I ordered a GE profile gas cooktop from Designer Appliances on Friday 11/4/11. The product showed in-stock on the web site. I wanted to be sure, so I called. Michael answered the phone. He told me that it was indeed in-stock and if I place an order on Friday, I should be able to receive it on Tuesday. I did and Michael upgraded my shipping without extra charge. The next day (Saturday) morning, to my surprise, a FedEx truck showed up at my house with the cooktop. The cooktop was packaged very well. "I had a really hard time. deciding what vacuum cleaner to buy. My son recommended a Miele, but I really didn't know much about that brand. I called Designer Appliances and ended up ordering a Neptune after they asked what kind of floors I have, how far I would have to take the vacuum around my house. I am also very allergic to dust and they explained Miele HEPA system. After I ordered the vacuum and the replacement bags, they arrived less than 48 hours later! The vacuum is perfect and Designer Appliances was really helpful. I'll definitely shop there again."

"Ordered. Paid in FULL via Paypal. Customer rep: asked me $110 for delivery charge besides the price of the refrigerator. So I canceled the order. Guess what, they only refunded partially. They stole $18.62 from me called Adjustment fee. Called numerous times to resolve this matter to them. It looks like only one woman works there. never returned calls. Filed Paypal dispute after 3 days later. Bunch of thieves & crooks. Please be very careful! I will also file a complaint to BBB too for them.

"What a nice sales experience. I needed a refrigerator and I started to get paralyzed by my choices after Googling everything.
I called Designer Appliances and spoke with them about a Maytag but after they helped me measure my entry way, I realized
that the model I had chosen wouldn't fit through my doors! They also narrowed down my choices by asking me about my family needs.
That question really helped me figure out what I needed and why I ended up going with a French door, bottom freezer model.

"I'm not very comfortable ordering online, so I called the 888 number they had listed. I spoke with a gentleman and ordered my new Whirlpool washer along with a matching dryer that I was able to stack!!
They are located in NJ, I'm in NY, so we scheduled a delivery and installation for later in the week.
The delivery people were very nice. They delivered, installed, and removed my old units.
I'm very excited about all the free room I now have in my laundry room. My old units were side by side and took up a lot of room. Overall a pleasant experience and will call them should I ever need any other appliances. I already recommended them to a friend.

Prices seemed competitive on most items and especially good on the range I purchased. Delivery took longer than I had expected (about a week) but was certainly within reason. The $50 for in-home delivery vs. $20 for curbside seemed a bit steep but still worth it given the low base price. "

"When my old refrigerator needed replacement, I needed the exact size unit to replace it within my kitchen. When I saw that the direct replacement was offered on special ordering with 2 week turn around, I called them. They were very knowledgeable and willing to help. They suggested a more recent unit made by the same manufacturer with identical physical size but a more contemporary appearance which was in stock. I ordered it and received it next day and love it. It was a pleasure dealing with them."
