"BEWARE: I decided to use this company instead of my local appliance company in order to save on the tax as well as a lower delivery/install cost. I ordered 3 appliances: dishwasher, stove and microwave, all installed.

I experienced several issues & DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM:

THEY DAMAGED MY COUNTERTOP & GAVE ME THE RUN-AROUND (See point 3)

1. On initial delivery the microwave was damaged. They promised to come back next day with a new one. They never showed. I had to call several times and they scheduled delivery for a 3rd time and AGAIN DID NOT SHOW (3rd TIME). Long story short, it was a 2 week process to finally get it.

2. Bad installers. They are nice, but do not appear qualified. Took 4-5 hours to install a dishwasher and stove. Another 4 hours for a microwave (seriously. Previous microwave from Sears 5 years ago took like 20 mins).

3. On install of Dishwasher, they screwed to far and cracked my countertop. I have before and after photos. I sent to their CEO Metin Ozkuzey, who acknowledged it was their fault and assured me it would be fix. Have email from him stating they were looking for a cabinet maker to resovle it. I followed up several times in a 3 week period and he generally responded stating they were still working on it. I gave it some time (3-4 weeks) and followed up again - no response. Tried for another 10 days, nothing. Finally I submitted the complaint to the BBB. Waiting for resolution.

4. I ordered the microwave according to their specs on the website. I was within the 30 inch width limit. They installed (took 4 hours). They took it apart for some reason, put it up and I noticed they didn't re-attach the case properly so they had to take down and put back up. Once done they informed me that the door only opened 75% of the way because the hinge hit the wall. They tell me this after 4 hours and I'm standing there holding a sick and sleeping baby. I complained to the company who said I can pick out another one but they offered no details when I asked what exactly that meant.

BOTTOM LINE: Their site looks nice, their call center reps are nice but their delivery/installation team is terrible. They caused damage to my property, did a poor installation job and did not take corrective again for 2 months now.


UPDATE: Almost 2 weeks later and they have still not responded to BBB or this review. "

THEY PLACE BLAME ON THEIR SHIPPER AND PAPERWORK YOU NAME IT BUT IN THE END NO PRODUCT DELIVERY. STAY TUNED AS JAN 11TH IS NOW THE NEW DATE. BE PREPARED TO HAVE THE SHIPPER CONFIRM AND NOT DELIVER. GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY THESE GUYS ARE A WASTE OF TIME. I ORDERED THE DRYER FROM APPLIANCESCONNECTION.COM AND RECIEVED IT ALREADY. "Disappointed with service. I purchased a Maytag Dishwasher from Designer Appliances on Oct 18, and ordered delivery, removal of existing dishwasher and an extended warranty. The order was processed promptly and the salesperson was v courteous. However, at the time of delivery and installation, the installer discovered that the new dishwasher was a tiny bit wider (frame) than the existing one, and he would need to remove and reinstall a wood strip that was in the cabinetry. He indicated to my wife that they dont normally do this, hooked up the dishwasher to the electricity and water and then left. Subsequently, we have followed up to get the dishwasher properly installed, and on the phone they assured us that someone would get back to us, and also on email, but to date 2 months later we still have no response to repeated emails and no resolution of the problem. I have called a handyman to come and fix the situation, and he would need to take the dishswasher out and do the job and essentially asks for the full installation charge again. What a waste. I should have just asked for delivery and removal since simply hooking up the reinstall is a trivial job, and for the $130 they charged for installation beyond the delivery and removal fees they should have done the job properly."
