"Called to ask a question about a roof cap for a vented hood. I am not a customer just found Designer Appliances on line. Joseph took the time to ask me the proper questions to make sure he gave me the correct information. Unfortunately, they would not be able to get me the product I wanted in time. Here is where the EXCELLENT customer service comes in play. A few more questions and he directed me to an alternative option that would meet my needs in my timeframe. The kicker he didn't sell me anything and still took the time to educate me and put me in the right direction. I highly recommend calling a Joseph. I know I will for my next purchase. Had a confirmed online order, including free delivery within 100 miles (which we are) – subsequently they unilaterally canceled the order after they said I had not contacted them (which I had – in fact I had even agreed to share an additional up charge in delivery despite being within the range they specify on their map on line). I feel completely baited and switched – they never contacted me about the cancellation (I had to call them) and they would only honor a new order for a higher price and an even higher delivery fee. They could not even honor the original incorrectly canceled order price!? Do yourself a favor - STAY AWAY - RUN!!! "

"Having been a loyal Karl's appliance customer for over 20 years and tired of the lack of customer service I left and 3 years ago I purchased a Bosch range from Joe Cocuzza at Designer Appliances. Recently I was in need of a new washer and dryer and once again it was a pleasure. I did my research online, knew what I wanted, called Joe and Designer Appliances immediately matched the price and delivered a stunning Front Loader Washer & Dryer by Whirlpool within the same week. I couldn't be more satisfied with the product, service, delivery, set up and of course Joe. In my opinion, there are no other appliance stores around that provide such a high level of service and therefore I will ONLY recommend Designer Appliances to my family, friends and neighbors. Thank you Joe & Designer Appliances :)
Follow up....Sad and surprised to report that since the sale was made and I needed a replacement pedestal for my washer due to delivery damage the customer service stinks and is non existent....I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to chase my salesman down for assistance in resolving this matter and have been totally ignored....After a random salesman became involved my issue of 1 month is now over....While I'm grateful that Mike picked up the ball that Joe dropped I am still disappointed... Needless to say I will not return for future appliance purchases due to the fact that you are abandoned in the event your purchase requires service or replacement :(
Follow up #2....After several service calls & repairs on my Brand New Washer & Dryer Whirlpool agreed my appliances were defective and offered me a refund I called Designer Appliances & asked for Mike (the salesman who picked up the ball Joe dropped) and guess what? He didn't follow through with a price quote and failed to reach out....It has been brought to my attention that this is the normal practice of this company and I refuse to beg and chase to give them a sizable sale....So Costco.com is was and I couldn't be happier with my purchase, delivery, installation & customer service....Brick & mortar stores wonder why they are all going out of business, the answer isn't foreign, it is called CUSTOMER SERVICE and the lack there of..... Apparently it is a dying practice and they are causing their own demise..."

"I ordered a washer and dryer on 4/29. It stated that everything in in stock. For 2.5 weeks I was waiting for a shipping update and when I called they stated that my order will be shipped next week. After nothing happened I called again and I was told to " well, I lied to you when I told you it would ship next week. I ask for the supervisors and and the customer service rep forgot her name?!? Buffeled i hung up. My wife called back and was told that the dryer was there but the washer would be on back order. I was told it would arrive at their warehouse on 5.30 and would be shipped out the same day or next. On 6/1 I still did not have a shipping confirmation, so I called back and was told that I would receive a call back the same day. At 4.40 pm I called back as I had not received the call as promised. When I was the first caller in line, the system magically switched to voicemail. I was not able to get a hold of them. Their terms and conditions state that the money would be deducted from the account when the items ship. They deducted the money 5 weeks ago and I don't even have a shipping confirmation. The strange thing is, when I look onto their website, the washer I ordered, is available with a delivery time of 10-14 days. Either this company is a rip of or they are lying about their delivery times. Don't buy there! "
