"My wife and I had a great experience purchasing our Subzero refrigerator/freezer and Wolf induction cooktop from Designer Appliances (Montclair, NJ). Our salesperson, Justin Wilk, was extremely terrific to work with. He was very accommodating. The delivery was prompt in spite of the snow storm the day before. Not only was the delivery crew (led by Gary) very polite, but they were also very professional. We live in a high-rise apartment. Gary and his men were very careful to make sure these two appliances (especially the massive Subzero) did not hit any object. That was not easy, considering the pathway from our entrance to the kitchen was relatively narrow and winding. As a final note, my wife and I have been enjoying these two brand new grand appliances for more than two weeks and we certainly like them a lot. "

"I cannot rave enough about Designer Appliances and their impeccable customer service! I worked closely with Russell Berta, and he was a lifesaver! When I first began my research online, Russell's name popped up for an online chat and he was super helpful and gave me his contact information. He quickly and easily arranged for the delivery of my new appliances--washer/dryer, fridge, gas range, dishwasher, and microwave. I was expecting delivery on January 6th, and the afternoon before, Russell was informed by Frigidaire that my gas range was out of stock and wouldn't be in stock for at least a week. I went into full panic mode, as my contractor and plumber were already lined up to hook everything up the following day, and we were moving in with our three-year-old several days later. Even though the situation was the fault of Frigidaire, and not Designer Appliances, Russell literally saved the day. The next day--which was his day off--he worked from home and was able to offer my a replacement range that was actually nicer than the one I had originally ordered. Once our oven came, after a couple of days, we noticed a little problem with it. "I have been in the market searching for the appliances I wanted but everywhere I went the prices exceeded my budget. I found Designer Appliances online and was pretty skeptical about ordering. I was afraid that appliances would be damaged when they arrived and would have to go through the the hassle of exchanging them. The skepticism I had is completely gone. Delivery was scheduled and they arrived within the 4 hour window that they gave me. One of the boxes seemed a little dinged but the delivery person opened the box for me so I could look at the appliance to ensure there was no damage.
Appliances are brand new and working without an issue. Delivery process was easy. Prices were the best I found. Extremely Satisfied. I quoits recommend them in a heartbeat!!!"
"If you are looking to save money and you care nothing about customer service, this is the place for you. We ordered a Samsung counter depth french door refrigerator on March 13,2015. We were told it would take 10-14 days for delivery. It was finally delivered 36 days later on April 18. Meanwhile, we called them numerous times asking when it would be delivered. We were always told they would check into it and call us back. They NEVER called back. We called on at least 8 different dates and never was a call returned. We cancelled and then reinstated the order because they said it would be here "for sure" by Thursday. I t actually arrived 10 days later. We were told we would be compensated for our problems, but when I called on Monday after delivery, the manager "was not in yet" but would call as soon as she got in. No Call. I called on Tuesday and was told she was in a meeting, but would call back. I told them I was going to write a review and wondered if they had any comment about our compensation. Nothing! The refrigerator is great but do not buy from them if you need it in a timely manner or expect to have customer service!!"

"First off I will blame myself for ordering appliances from these people.
I design kitchen and baths for a living, but I didn't want to use my suppliers for a dryer!
I'm an idiot! I wasn't expecting that kind of service though, if you call it service!
First it started by paying them!!! Yeap, that was a problem! Had to register the delivery address as my primary address! Did it! Don't ask why, because I said, I'm an idiot.
Second had to send two emails and call three times to find out when my order will be shipped! I was promised a day that I had to call twice to confirm! It's getting better!
Dryer was delivered and the delivery guys open the carton and took the box with them. Nothing wrong with that, right?
Time came to install the dryer. To my surprise I found out it was an electric one! I need a gas one! I order the wrong dryer! Not funny at all!
What would be the first thing to do? Go online find a gas model and ask for exchange, right?
Took one week for their returns team (yes, team) to let me know if I'm qualified for the exchange! Do you want the verdict? Here it is: I have to place the dryer in the original box (do you remember those nice delivery guys that got the box?), ship it to them with a company of my choice and pay a restocking fee of 50%! Not funny at all!
Wasted another hour on the phone trying to find out what makes sense, but you guess it, it took me nowhere. The only thing that I found out is that I had to pay $138 for return shipping plus $125 restocking fee! Total of $263. Originally I paid $388.40 for the dryer. About 70% of the original value! Why would I return it? I will not.
But guess what, I will not buy that gas dryer from them! I will make sure that no one else that I know buys from them and I will try to prevent others from buying from them!
Simply put: BAD SERVICE.
God forbid if something goes wrong, you are out of luck, to say the least!

"I had a very good experience ordering a 29 cu ft fridge. The price was the lowest I could find, delivery was free and it was relatively fast (about a week to South Florida). The guys from the trucking company, AM Trucking, were fast and courteous. Many delivery companies are trying to unload and get out as fast as they can. These guys not only unpacked the fridge for me and brought it to the kitchen, but they asked me to take my time and inspect it closely. Points for that. Customer service from designerappliances.com communicated well and was responsive when I inquired about shipping status. Overall, I had a very pleasant transaction and not only saved some money, but was spared of any aggravation and frustration with the delivery. I would buy from them again. "
"Happy with my purchase - Not too many folks ship large appliances to my zip code in Montana. I called Designer Appliances if they service my area. Unfortunately, the exact zip code was not in their shippers service area but they informed me about a shipping agents' dock about 2 hours away from my house. They honored free shipping on my order and all I had to do was to use my pick up truck to get my appliances. Happy that all items arrived before the holidays."
