"I have purchased an eBay item from this store.
I asked them the shipping cost, and they sent me an invoice via PayPal, not via eBay. Suppose if you ever purchase something from this store, you are to do that at eBay only, as my story shows that eBay feedback seems to be the only matter they care about.
According to the eBay item page and to the invoice they sent, the item is TOKINA 0.22X FISHEYE LENS. Tokina is a well known Japanese optics manufacturer and a reliable trade mark. The item I received from the store had no word about Tokina nor on the lens neither on the box. That was a low quality optics "Digital Concepts" lens, made in China according to the lable on the box. And the box was yellow not blue as Tokina's on the item description page, so that can not be a casual mistake.
I have opened a PayPal dispute. It was ignored by the store during more than a week. Then I escalated to a PayPal claim, but it was denied by PayPal according to their buyer complaint policy (PayPal considers the shipment of goods only, not disputes about the attributes or quality of the goods received).
Finaly I have left a negative eBay feedback to the store. They replied! They asked me to revise my feedback, just revise and then they definitely refund me $20 for the issue (nearly 1/3 of the price excl. shipping). That would solve the case, and I asked them to refund at first, taking into account that they ignored my PayPal dispute. But in a week they told me they can't pay as far as my PayPal account does not allow to receive money. I have forwarded them an instruction I received from PayPal on a partial issue refund which is always available for the seller... No reply. I have emailed them again, they asked me to resent an instruction, I have resent again... No reply.
The messages I received from the store were signed by Carlos, David and Josh.
Definitely, I will never deal again with this store.

"I am completely satisfied with DI although I wish had gotten an order confirmation e-mail. I received the order, in good shape, in a week. Good items at a good price."
"I ordered a slave flash from Digital Innovations, and thanks to USPS losing a shipment, I quite honestly thought they were a bogus company from whom USPS always 'loses' shipment.
However, at their own expense, I was sent a second flash, which arrived at an acceptable time. Customer service was pretty good- I sent about 9 emails (two per week) asking what was happening about it, and each time I got an honest and detailed response.
The flash was great, with a free tripod thrown in! I have yet to use it properly, but it zooms, pivots and syncs perfectly with my camera, known for the impossibility of syncing it with anything.
Well done DI and I hope USPS refunds every cent."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PHONEY PLACE! They are in the business of defrauding people, either by not sending them what they ordered, or NOT SENDING THE PAID-FOR ITEMS AT ALL!!! We were charged $1040 on 11/18 for a camcorder that we STILL don't have, it is now 12/28. Numerous calls to them brought promises that the items would be shipped, but they were all lies. Also, the customer service was non-existent, when we brought our issue up to them AGAIN after a month, the person on the phone called my husband a "loser". So, maybe yes, we are the "loser" on this deal because they have defrauded us out of $1040.
REPORT THEM TO THE NY ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE & BBB, THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO DEFRAUD THE PUBLIC WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES!!!"
"Ordered an e-bay item with a photo of a Merkury camera battery charger, received a Digital Innovations charger instead. I'm sure it works fine, but I had good reason to order the Merkury product. Not what I wanted or ordered, but for the price, not enough to make an issue out of it. I believe D.I. counts on this. "
"Back in January this year, I purchased two cases from Digital Innovations. I placed my order by phone at the number 1-***-***-**** and spoke to Brandon. The order was placed under my mother's name (ELIANE VALADAO) and delivered to the address 607 Harbor Pointe Pkwy Atlanta, GA 30350.
When placing my order, I asked for a professional case for a Nikon D200 and another for a Panasonic AG-DVC 20. I received two Vanguard cases of the exact same size, and of course, the camcorder did not fit in the case it was supposed to... I called Digital Innovations SEVERAL times, as most of the times no one would answer the call, and spoke to Brandon (same person who originally placed my order) a few times about a replacement case, and he said he could not do anything about it because he could not find me in the system... I lost the receipt I received with the cases, so I do not have a receipt number, but I gave Brandon my name, address, credit card info, date of purchase, EVERYTHING... and he still "could not" (or did not want to) find me in the computer.
I am still very upset because I feel the company took advantage of me even though it was THEIR mistake, not mine. As a professional company, the minimum I expected from them was to have me return the wrong case and send me the correct one. But that never happened...
I went to several websites to check reviews about this store, and it seems like several customers have had problems with this company about items that are not "as advertised" and bad customer service experience. Too bad for me, I did not check those reviews before placing my order... :(
