It's always unnerving to give your credit card to a company you've never heard of, but once I submitted my order I immediately received a courtesy phone call and a follow up email for verification purposes. If they had not reached out to me before processing my card, I may have ordered the wrong camera! "I'd purchased a new 55-300mm lens for my Nikon D5200 early this morning, sometime after midnight. Today, I was surprised to find an email request that I call to confirm my order. At first apprehensive d/t so many scams, I called and held my breath. I was relieved and grateful when the young man who answered only wanted to verify that I'd purchased the lens that I'd truly wanted, as the model was for film, vs. my camera. Grateful for this level of attention and service, I was prepared to cancel the order but call back to buy the correct lens, with approval from my spouse (it was significantly more). To my further amazement, the gentleman dropped the price to a level that even my husband couldn't fuss about, and promised to get it to me before my niece's wedding next week, as I was worried about the delay that I'd caused. My work as a Customer Service consultant keeps me constantly mindful of service quality, and when I see great service, I have to remark upon it. This was what we refer to as 'selfless service', as many would have simply let me make my mistake and 'go through the process'.
