"My experiences with DinoDirect were always positive. I've had 4 orders in the past few months and Items were always shipped fast. They send an e-mail to confirm shipping. One order they shipped in two parts because ordered items were not in stock, but only few days apart.

They have offers/deals, and pretty good prices.

Order something small to try them out, and if all goes well, order more. It worked great for me.

I would recommend this shop.

"I am going through a very bad experience in buying from DinoDirect and would like to warn other prospective buyers.

I bought a mobile phone for US$203. It arrived in about a month with the missing TF Card. Anyway when I used it for less than a day the screen became detached as the glue holding the screen to its body melted due to heat generated by the phone. As required I sent the photos of the detached screen and asked for RMA.Initially they only offered $30 voucher in compensation but I did not agree and wanted the refund. It took quite a number email exchanges for them to agree for me to return the phone but they insisted that I must bear the cost of return postage even though the back of the invoice (and their return policy on the web site) clearly says that they will pay for the return postage if the product is defective.

In the end I had no alternative but to agree to paying the postage to return the defective product. But now I have found that the cost of shipping with tracking is more than $60. I do not want to be out of pocket by over $60 for no fault of mine! I have now told them that they must pay for the postage.

DinoDirect's actions so far has shown that the company has no intention to abide by its own terms and condition for faulty products. If the company is serious about doing a fair business then it should take responsibility for the faulty products and pay for the return postage as per its policy.

I am now stuck with a useless phone with detached screen.

Customer Service Manager has been most helpful to resolve my case. I have sent the defective product back. They refunded the postage cost even before receiving the item. I have been advised that they have now received the item and are processing the full refund. I expect to get the full refund soon.

"Purchased at this site for flashlight batteries and a charger for them. It is very necessary and useful thing. Flashlight runs for a long time, even for very long. With the flashlight is much quieter and lighter. The bag, he does not take up much space. The online store DinoDirect are many different options for batteries, everyone can choose to your liking."

"I recently ordered 2 items from Dinodirect, and after reading these reviews I am a little afraid. For i have already started to have prob. with the site, first It has been about a week seen's i have ordered the items and i got tracking on them. (So I thought I shouldn’t have any prob. Right? Wrong!) The items I bought, or I think I’v bought on my dino account, I can only see when I go into my dash board, witch states that the items have been shipped, BUT when i go into my orders i get a screen stating UNPAID ITEMS and nothing is listed. WTF i don’t understand this???? I am also unable to see the tracking status for some reason.(I swear I have tried everything)now it maybe me doing something wrong but I just don’t think so. The tracking sit i was emailed by Dinodirect. Which is the following: (http://intmail.183.com.cn/item/itemStatusQuery.do?lan=0 ) seen’s I have been having these prob. I am not feeling very confident that I will even get my items now, and theses statements from others horror stores aren’t to reassuring ether. Which is a sad thing! I tried contacting Dinodirect directly at costumer service, to inquire but this prob. i am having, but i just keep getting ringing after ringing and i never got to talk to anyone. Now its not like I used paypal but a card so I don’t think ill end up getting my money back, though I rather have the items I bought. Now I will not totally bash on this SITE at least not as of yet. For I know there’s no way the items could get here in 1week. So as of right now it is a weighting game to see if the items ever do show up. Ill give it half a month before contacting/ or try contacting customer service once again. But as of now im disappointed in not seeing tracking of ITEMS! Well I hope my items do show, if not I will be very disappointed and let down by this site. ~ I will update this post if and when I receive the items.

"Their product descriptions are misleading and the "quality control" of their products is nothing more than stickers. I ordered a "Large Screen LCD Electronic Alarm Clock" thinking that it was, you know, an alarm clock, but instead it shifts between the date and temperature constantly and there is no way to turn this off. It's very bright and the flash as it changes from screen to screen will keep you up at night and light up your whole bedroom. This date and temperature feature was mentioned nowhere in their product description! So get this, there was one of those gold "QC inspected" stickers on the back of the alarm clock; it looked like there was something behind it so I peeled it off. It turns out that it was covering up a hole where a mode switch was supposed to be! Their "quality inspection" also didn't catch the big scratches and scuff marks all over the front of the clock either. I have no idea who wrote the reviews on their site for this alarm clock, but they clearly aren't reviewing the same product because they mention features that aren't in the product description or even on the clock. I contacted their support department both through a case number and through their chat wondering if there is a way to disable the temperature/date feature, and I haven't heard anything back from them. In the case that I submitted they replied with:

"We have contacted our related department to fix the problem. Oonce we get reply, we will give you best solutions. Please be more patient!
Have a ncie day"

I will simply never order from this company again, and I will be sure to let everybody else know that they are not worth doing business with. It's not worth the hassle, time, and money to go through their ridiculous return process.

"Last Saturday 3/24 I purchased two items from Dinodirect.com. If I had read the reviews prior I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED FROM THEM! The website was very clear that they would ship the items I purchased within 2-3 business days, so you would think that 5 days later they would have a tracking number since I purchased $50+ worth of items and paid for FedEx delivery. THEY STILL HAVE NOT SENT MY ITEMS!!! I'm so angry with them and frustrated with their obvious stall tactics. They even called my home phone today asking me if I was sure that what I ordered was what I wanted! Seriously? I paid for them didn't I? If I don't get a FedEx tracking number for my order by tomorrow morning US time then this will not be a mere online review complaint. It will go way above and beyond that! FRAUD sound familiar?

Update: A representative called me days ago and they responded to the online case I opened on their website. Both times I told them that "I know what I ordered was UK and EU adapters with my products and I know I live in the US, but I have converters and your company didn't have a US adapter option. So just SEND ME EACTLY WHAT I ORDERED AND PROVIDE ME WITH A FEDEX TRACkING NUMBER ...NOW!" Yet, they still reply days later with their response to my POOR REVIEW saying that they haven't sent me what I ordered because I selected adapters for other countries and I live in the US! I'm filing a FRAUD report today.

Today is Saturday and my products should have been sent days ago and they still have NOT BEEN SHIPPED! The website clearly states 2-3 business days for preparation before shipping. That is FALSE ADVERTISING AND FRAUDULENT.

If there is any one else interested, there is a group forming a class action lawsuit against the owners of dinodirect.com.

"Purchased from DinoDirect January 23, 2012. Item still isn't shipped. 25 days and counting. They said product was in high demand. How many people buy hairdryers is beyond me. They reply to emails in a timely manner. They offer unrealistic solutions and no resolution to you problem, just a bunch of empty words to make you feel like your important and your issue is being dealt with (it isn't). They claimed they contacted the shipping department inquiring on the shipment of my purchase, they said they will reply when they receive a reply. Well, it seems their shipping department don't like to send emails. (4days later and still waiting on feedback). I purchased items from China the same time and have already received those products (I live in Canada!) If I knew then what I know now, I would have defiantly purchased the product elsewhere. Very inconvenient since I haven't had a hair dryer for a month now and don't want to purchase another one since I paid for a new one a month ago. Will be opening a dispute with Paypal by this Friday if my purchase isn't reported as shipped. Oh, and will be posting as many NEGATIVE forums as possible to keep others aware.


They emailed me back a few days later after multiple emails sent and informed me they were unable to provide a tracking number.

They also sent me the wrong product... still awaiting for them to remedy their problem. Its been over 3 month now and their emails are getting few and far inbetween. Definately not impressed now!

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order on Feb 29th and did not receive it until March 28th!

On top of that, I ordered license plate frames that cost me $43 and come to find when i get them they are WAYYY bigger and do not fit US license plates!! There is no measurements in the item description!

To make matters worse, the only way they will refund me is to pay the shipping costs to return it to CHINA. the costs for me to ship it to china with tracking will cost me as much if not more than what i even paid for the item!!!!!!!!!!!

I will never be tricked into ordering from this company again and will make sure i tell everyone i know here in the US to stay away from DinoDirect!
