"As a unhappy customer, I am here to share my story.
I saw the wedding dress of my dreams and decided to take the chance and order the dress. It was http://www.dinodirect.com/ball-gown-wedding-dress-tulle-sweetheart-cathedral-train.html. The dress came and it was not the same. As you can see the dress in the picture came with feathers. I got one with flowers. Since my fiance ordered the dress, I asked him to speak with customer service. Now began the horror.
First we tried over the phone customer service. Their English was poor so my fiance have great difficulty understanding her. Next, he was instructed to email photos to show the difference, which we did. Then they have the nerve and said "The dress is very nice. You should wear it to your wedding". I got so angry at this time. The dress was tacky because it was big flowers on the chest. I was thinking to myself, we aren't going to get our money back. That made my fiance very upset because we felt that have just been ripped off.
We argued with them profusely for another 2 hours. They want my fiance to be responsible for the shipping back to China. I found out and got angry and I called them. I said "I am not going to pay for your mistaken in making the wrong dress". I got irritated with their bad English, and decided to speak to them in Chinese, since I am Chinese too. However, they continued to speak in their bad English. The customer rep is Sharon. She told me to email her the problem.
Again I email her. I called again. This time was a man named Michael. He spoke better English. He then sent my fiance a return address and said they are going to refund us, but we have to pay the shipping first. After they get the item and will refund the shipping along with the purchased item value. We felt unsecure with that offer he made because what if he gets the item back and not refund us. When my fiance checked his email, they offered us $20.00 dinodirect gift card and for us to keep the item. I was enraged because of what they are attempting. The next day they offered $30.00.
As of now, they gave us an insufficient address to return the item. We can't print the shipping lable. We will attempt to set up paypal dispute now. We are so stressed out. "I am sorry for your inconvience" won't cut it for me!

As of this moment nothing has been refunded. My fiance is flaming me because I have given him false hope.
After reading the response from Louis, nothing was done on paypal in refund. I'm still dissatisfy. I will post update to the situation to let buyers be aware of the situation.
We did get paypal instruction to return the item. However we don't want to be responsible for the shipping to China, it is a wedding dress and it is very heavy. I guess that is one of the cons for shopping on this website.
Another thing is they ask you to declare the value of your item to $10. That is against the law in the US for not declaring value of ship goods. I heard they will confiscate your item. :(

The reviews said things like DinoDirect was a scam company with inferior products, very slow mail service (if you received your product at all) I was ready to accept the loss. What others said was WRONG! WRONG! WRONG in my case. My order arrived to the United States in 7 days after placing the order. The product was excellent quality. It was professionally packaged. And everything works and is still working. The bad review may or may not be true. My experience was great and I will order from DinoDirect again."

DinoDirect has a nice website and offers many interesting, inexpensive items. Purchasing experience is smooth with good feedback. For maybe most things purchased you'd be fine and you shop DinoDirect again and again.
Post Sale Experience:
DinoDirect is quick to answer e-mails sent to their customer support. After I had initiated a request for help on finding a replacement part DinoDirect referred me to a place on their website that has replacement parts listed for like items. I went to the site but got confused for I could not find a match. So I e-mailed DinoDirect back telling them that my part apparently is not listed (available). I requested help with information how to obtain replacement part. In a prompt response from DinoDirect I was then asked for SKU number (part number) of replacement item. OK - now the part number is technical. It is my understanding that the consumer would have no resonable way to obtain such information unless consumer had a service manual or online means to obtain such info. I feel comfortable in saying that DinoDirect would have to agree with me that asking for an extraneous SKU number is not a good business practice. One can help but think that DinoDirect does this to get rid of customers it can't help. I then wrote another e-mail requesting senior customer support and again if they could just say straight out that they cannot help me. Prompt response again with the message that it was a "very long time" ago that I had ordered the item and that they apologize and are sorry. Well - it had just been a tad over a year since purchase.
Conclusion: Again, DinoDirect may work fine for you for most products. The last thing I want to do is smear DinoDirect. In my case though in a post sale situation, where a simple, inexpensive replacemetn part for high tech item was requested things became frustrating. DinoDirect needs to be honest and learn to admit that it sells products in the hundreds of dollars (PC tablet in my case) but that it may NOT in all situations be able to help its customers getting simple, inexpensive parts that are crucial for the functioning of the product. "I will never do business with DinoDirect again. I purchased a set of binoculars for $85. They shipped 3 weeks late (from China and were apparently held up in customs - I had no idea they were shipping from China or I could have been prepared for a lengthy shipping cycle) and when they arrived, the hinge was broken so they were completely useless. Worse yet, they were a gift for a family member. I submitted an RMA with DinoDirect and the best they have offered is to give me a $20 gift certificate to their site...and then they're so gracious as to let me keep the broken binoculars....so I would have paid $65 for a set of broken binoculars. Such a hassle and not worth any cost savings you may think you're getting."
